Well spent an emotional roller coaster of an afternoon, being passed back and forth between my useless GP and the EPU? Finally ended up at the EPU, had internal and external exam and bloods and then they told me they were worried I was having an ectopic pregnancy! Did not see that coming! Scared the shit out of me!

They stuck a catheter in me and said I couldn't eat or drink incase they had to whip me into surgery! I waited for four hours imagining the worst and then finally got scanned! They can't explain the spotting and I have to go back in a week if it doesn't stop, but the pain in my lower left abdo is an ovarian cyst and managed to see the little bean with tiny flickering heartbeat! So at the moment things are ok. They took some swabs to check for infection and should get results early next week, but for now I feel so lucky!!!

Thanks so much ladies for all your hand holding and support! Sending you all virtual choccies!

Sultanajo · 16/05/2013 19:05

ginny can you get an appt tomorrow to discuss what that was? also i would suggest not working, I am currently off with my back, but really its cause I have been a bit worried and needed a rest! (also a nurse with old folk!)
What a day saltana! you must be exhauted! rest well x x
Still spotting here, was a tiny bit of fresh today too, really seems to be realted to what I have been doing though, days when I have literally done nothing are not too bad, really just a bit and its brown. Today went for a walk and lunch with my sister, moving around a bit I guess and more and fresh. Think I might go to my docs, I know this can be normal but how am i meant to work if this is going on??

Sultanajo · 16/05/2013 19:11

MTBMummy · 16/05/2013 19:42

Sultanajo sounds like a really manic day, but so happy for you that you got to see the heart beat.

Sitting with my feet up waiting for my scan tomorrow, DP is being a sweetheart and looking after me

LittlePeaPod · 16/05/2013 19:45

A question has anyone been getting a really strange head rush? It fills like your head is full and fuzzy. I am putting it down to a rush of hormones. It lasts from a few minutes to a few hours.

Also although not as sick as others (comes and goes). I seem to have gone off all food except, boiled veg, soup and certain fruit. Anyone else experienced this?

Really sorry don't want to sound to insensitive to hose worrying.

extracrunchy · 16/05/2013 19:59

Little - don't know if this is the same, but I get a massive head rush every time I stand up at the moment!

sarahleanne · 16/05/2013 20:02

I get those head rushes too!! I'm putting it down to hormones and maybe change in blood pressure? Not sure.

LittlePeaPod · 16/05/2013 20:03

Yes sounds similar but it just comes even when sat still and stays for ages. Makes your head really fuzzy. Tans Extra

LittlePeaPod · 16/05/2013 20:04

sarah thanks was starting to get worried. But I think it's hormones.

Sultanajo · 16/05/2013 20:05

MTB so pleased your DP is looking after you! You deserve some pampering!

I know what u mean Sarah, felt guilty coming back with good news, although hopefully it will give others hope....

Pea not been head rusty as such, definitely more of a faint feeling in the morning. Lasts about 15 mins. Not sure if its the same...?

gemma277 · 16/05/2013 20:05

So sorry MrsG!!!! Thanks

Good news Sultana!

Little, it may be low blood pressure, especially if your not eating much. I suffer with it and sounds like one of the symptoms.

Hope everyone else is ok, thinking of everyone with spotting and cramping.
