Frus I have skinny minny babies too, thankfully my dsis has the fattest babies in the world, if its not got 5 folds an arm and leg then there's just something wrong with the world Wink

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 29/05/2013 08:38

Definately something wrong if there's no tubby armed and legged babies kitty

Librarina · 29/05/2013 11:29

I like a bit of both, a rolypoly one to squish, a long wriggly one to tickle. All babies are good.

Mine had a MW appt this morning, all fine, descended a little. Tried to persuade her to magic the baby out but she was having none of it... I came back and cleaned then tidied the freezer drawers....if that's not nesting I don't know what is!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 29/05/2013 12:23

Fie at your MW not magicing the baby out lib Wink and Grin at angry-nesting. what do you mean it's not ready yet? I'll show you, I'll clean my freezer! That'll do it. Grin

my mum just tried to steal ds. Shock I told her he was the good one and I was keeping him. Grin she's run away with dd1 instead. I might get her back at the end of the week when dm has a headache from dds constant monologue. Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 29/05/2013 13:34

Wow Kitty! That must have felt ahhhhmazing to sleep last night minus the rock-hard porn boobies in the morning

Freezer cleaning definitely gets babies out Lib.

LOL at the constant monologue! You must have someone over the age of 4 in your house?

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 29/05/2013 14:10

Haha, spot on bring dds 7. I've had 6years of constant talking

Librarina · 29/05/2013 15:38

Ooh, I think I've overdone it a bit today. Went out for lunch with my friend and her lovely 5 yr old DS. She had an errand to run so I said I'd take him to the park for a bit. We were in quite a 'yummy mummy' place so I got a bit competitive and thought "I'll show them what a 38+5 preggo can do".... So I merrily played on the swings & seesaw with the child, and when he wanted to go on the climbing frame I followed him up, right to the top. Thing is, pre-pregnancy I was a rock climber and in my head I'm still limber and strong, but in my body I am cumbersome and huuuuge and now I feel Very much like I've overdone it, hips and lower back are achy and I'm Soooo tired that I've had to come home after lunch and have a lie down. Which will teach me to show off! I blame the fancy mums, and that midwife!

bringonthetrumpets · 29/05/2013 15:54

Haha oh Lib, we've all done it! Hopefully you can rest up for the rest of the day. You are still limber and strong, it's just hard to bend at the waist with another human occupying it :) You'll get it back in no time and it will feel fabulous.

I'm stuck in the house today. DH has the car in the shop for me (it started smoking yesterday Shock) and now I have to find something to do.....

OP posts:
kittykatsforever · 29/05/2013 20:13

Lib that was a normal day pregnancy for me, not because i wanted to but if I took dd to a fun house park etc shed run off to do it and I had to follow!!
It was no wounder I've had siatic pain a bad back since, still you topped me at 38+5, I think I stoped at about 37 lol that'll teach me for getting knocked up with a toddler hey Wink

Librarina · 30/05/2013 06:55

Hello...Kitty. I bet you don't get much opportunity for a lie down with a toddler...(I dont know...do toddlers nap?). I snoozed yesterday afternoon, maybe that's why I'm waking up so early?

Anyway, today I'm off to learn the dark and mystical arts if breast feeding, am really hoping they don't make me practice with an ugly doll, I'm quite scared of dolls and am vowing that this Baby won't have one (waits to be ignored by DM and DMIL!)

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 30/05/2013 09:08

lib my dds didn't have dolls. In fact dd1 now has the same aversion to them that I do. But I do think dd1 has a very similar personality to me which helped.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 30/05/2013 10:47

my new nursing bras arrived. A size bigger. my boobs can breathe again. never thought I'd be a 40e but ooh the relief.

Lorelei353 · 30/05/2013 10:57

Good morning.

I'm a sleepy girl today. I've been sleeping relatively well up until now - waking up a lot but going back to sleep quickly. Didn't sleep at all well last night though. I think it was because I knew I was getting up early this morning to see GP so mind was racing.

All well with GP though. Head is well down and baby tucked up as it should be. I do have some thrush though, which is pretty sore and irritated but she gave me a prescription for that so hopefully will clear up quickly. It's not an area I want irritated right now!

kittykatsforever · 30/05/2013 11:40

Ow lor agree not the best area to get irritated at this point! Atleast it usually clears itself up quite quickly with meds!
Lib I'm lucky my dd loves sleeping so still has atleast 2hrs aday in naps, they tend to do it till 2 then between 2-3 drop the day time nap I think in general ( my how I love that nap)
Frus those bad boys sound amazing! I'm only a d / dd
Bring how go your symptoms?

bringonthetrumpets · 30/05/2013 13:33

Hey ladies. I was up a few hrs last night with actual contractions...that died down and did nothing but make me lose sleep and now be really sore and cranky this morning Angry. It's the second night it's happened.

I've got a thing about dolls too! Pretty sure I'll be chucking out dolls when my mum starts buying them for this baby....

Glad you got the thrush sorted out lor. Having it at the end of pregnancy could lead to thrush associated with breastfeeding, so it's good to get it taken care of straight away. Also get a good probiotic (one that's refrigerated) to help get your normal flora back in check so it doesn't come back.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 30/05/2013 16:52

Oh bring that sounds both promising and irritating for you. [frustrated emoticon]

kitty I've never been more than a 38dd when breastfeeding, which is why that was the size I bought to start with.

bringonthetrumpets · 30/05/2013 18:53

Gotta love some good ol' prodromal labor. My friend/doula says it's the curse of the 3rd baby... I think she's right.

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 30/05/2013 19:15

I think there's something in that bring I had a couple of nights like that just a week apart

Librarina · 31/05/2013 07:21

You're going to have to change yr name to 'FrustratedSycamoreNorks' at 40e! I've given up on trying to make bras work for me at the moment. I'm in a comfy, squishy nursing bra and my boobs look boring in it. I have boring bosoms.

Had my breast feeling lesson yesterday. Am very glad I went as apparently I hold a baby wrong. We did have to practise on an ugly doll and mine had a gammy eye which was stuck on half a blink so I shook it...apparently yr not supposed to do that with real babies!

Tonight however I have a hot date! 39 weeks today so DH and I are going out for tapas and flirting so I'll have to find something nice to wear.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 31/05/2013 08:16

Grin you make me laugh lib I'm not sure shaking gets rid of gammy eyes Hmm there was me trying breast milk and cooled boiled water, and all I needed to do was shake the baby.
The tummy to mummy thing gets me all the time lib I find I latch them on and then rearrange them.

40e isn't as mahoosive as it sounds. I find the bigger the number gets the less impressive the letter is. Now if I was a 30e that would be impressive.

Have a fun date.

Lorelei353 · 31/05/2013 09:23

Well I was a 32E before I got pregnant frus. I'm wearing 34G now but who knows what I'll be when I start breastfeeding

kittykatsforever · 31/05/2013 09:44

Gosh I'm in the midst of some big breasted ladies, feeling a little bit underwhelmed by mine now Hmm I'm only a 34c normally and even that was slightly debatable after stopping bf last time
I have a very sucky baby, everytime she wakes up she want a boob or a finger preferably a boob! I know she's not hungry as she only feeds for a few minutes till she drifts off content she's got what she wanted!!
I know she'd love a dummy where as dd was never interested but loathe to really go down that route if I know she will love it decisions decisions do I hold off for aslong as poss??
Lib your post did make me laugh, did they not give you fake woollen boobs to use aswell? They are stranger then dolls! Enjoy your date it sounds perfect!!! Dd2 went down much better last night so we got to watch bgt then kept me awake from 10:30-1Hmm

bringonthetrumpets · 31/05/2013 13:27

Mirror, mirror on the wall who's got the smallest boobies of them all? Me Blush. We're toping out at a 34C whilst pregnant and breastfeeding and a very modest 34A when not nursing.

Lib your description of the bf'ing class is hilarious !! I could not stop laughing at the gammy-eyed doll that you had to shake. LOL. Nearly spat out my yogurt. Oh la la, have a wonderful date tonight!

I was all excited to go and have a pedi done with a friend today and then DS1 says he's feeling poorly and has got the goopy eyes, cough, and sad puppy-dog look on his face so I'm trying to decide if taking a 5 year old to a nail salon would actually result in a relaxing time. Yep, definitely not. At least the 3 yo is still going to school-this kid is a handful let me tell you. Love him, but holy shit he's been upping the antics this week!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 31/05/2013 13:44

I was a 34/36b before I had dd1, went to a 38d at max when nursing her, didn't loose them after nursing everyone said they'd get smaller dd2 took them to a 36dd, and was just loosing them when I got pregnant. A 40e is the same cup size, as a 38dd, but need the larger back size for comfort until they settle down. They really don't look that big as I'm 5'8" with broad hips and shoulders so not a supermodel.
I love the knitted boobs. They are so freaky.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 01/06/2013 01:39

Where's everyone hiding. I didn't mean to scare everyone away. Sad,
