Thanks Suffolk and Mumma. Is it likely that an EPU will carry out an ultrasound at this stage if you?re worried?

DittyRatt · 10/03/2013 19:25

Happy mothers day everyone x
Welcome to all the newbies.

I am so sorry to hear okavango thinking of you and your family at such a sad time. Look after yourself.

My due is not very good at birthdays and mothers day and things like that either, which is why I had to buy my own card and flowers.

I had a fainting incident at work today, a poor old man tripped and fell in the shop and cut his head, and was bleeding everywhere. Cue me, fainting at the sight of the blood when going to help him. Thankfully my work friend was right next to me and caught me before I hit the floor, then was able to help the man and phone him an ambulance.

On a positive note I had a phone call from the midwife yesterday and my booking in appointment is on the 11th April.

5+5?x

Dizzy81 · 10/03/2013 19:38

Okavango, sorry to hear your news. Big hugs.

I did another poas yesterday and weed over the control panel, the line to say I'm pregnant wasn't as strong as the first. Is that cos I weed more n the display?

Spent weekend at in laws, don't think they guessed anything?

Like others in here, the boobs are sore and feel massive!

pegster · 10/03/2013 19:49

Purple, I have got an early scan next week, I will be 6+5 my gp organised it for me as I was having spotting. So not sure if epu would be able to scan this early for you or if you have to have had something wrong ie spotting?

Ditty I felt as though I was going to faint earlier, was standing at the dining table and thought I saw it move away from me but it was me that was moving! My dh caught me. I have never fainted before and got a bit scared actually...I kind of assumed that women who faint in pregnancy are fainters anyway if that makes sense?! I.e I have a friend who faints quite easily.

Had a lovely Mother's Day. Has my breakfast made for me and brought to me on bed...pancakes, bacon and maple syrup!! And then we went out to soft play, bowling and for lunch. Still running to the loo with diarrhoea constantly which is a pain....is it normal for so long? Been over a week now.

Hope you are all well Smile

MTB my dh is away till Friday, back for the weekend then away another week Hmm it's making me really tearful which I know is pathetic. He isn't doing that far, still in the uk but the opposite end!

Fairydogmother · 10/03/2013 21:23

Harv I'd maybe speak to your Gp - sounds a bit long to suffer that! He can maybe give you something to settle your tummy down.

I'm just sooo bloody freezing these days! They reduced my thyroxine and I don't think it's right so I'm going to call the Gp and ask where my referral to the endocrinologist has got to. I live in a warm house too but I'd rather be in bed these nights under the duvet!

getoffthecoffeetable · 10/03/2013 21:24

Does anyone else have tummy ache? I seem to have a constant tummy ache.
Harverina, hope you're feeling better after the fainting episode, good job DH was there to catch you.
Ruby,good luck with your scan.
Ditty, have you fainted much while you've been pregnant?
It sounds really scary.
Look after yourselves all, Happy Mother's Day

DittyRatt · 10/03/2013 21:25

I felt sorry for the old man harverina , he cut his head open, and all I could do was faint.
I would ring the doctor about the diarrhoea since it has been more than 3 days they will probably want to give you something to make sure you don't dehydrate.

DittyRatt · 10/03/2013 21:31

getoff oh yes I fainted almost all the time during my pregnancy with dd the midwife told me that when I felt like I was about to go I should sit down as soon as possible put my head between my legs and breath deeply, then get someone to make me a surgery cup of tea.

MummaPanda · 10/03/2013 21:37

I also fainted a few times with dd, it is really scary especially since I had never ever fainted before!

Dizzy81 · 10/03/2013 21:59

fairy I'm glad it's not just me that's feeling cold/having chiils.

ditty you poor thing. Put your feet up and take cars of yourself.

Ok will call go tomorrow, I'm wondering if t contributed to me feeling faint/dizzy in the same way that being sick would.

I'm freezing all the time too! Keep saying "it's freezing on here" and my dh is sitting sweating!

PurpleKiwi · 10/03/2013 22:08

GetOff not so much tummy ache, more like period pains and burping so much that it's almost embarassing!

Snowdrop9 · 10/03/2013 22:41

Hello, yes me too!! Due 9th November and this will be my first baby at 42. Keeping everything crossed that everything goes well. Nervous, excited, happy. Still doesn't seem real. Knew from day one of missed period, longed for baby via IUI. Bit of nausea, exhaustion and achy bbs. Lovely to see others with similar due dates!!! x
