p.s I refused to believe that any woman ttc hasnt done a sneaky bin check for a test she threw away 'just to be sure', so you're not alone Grin

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 06/03/2013 15:37

Yep we've all done the bin check thing.

Congrats and welcome.

Annyone else peeing like crazy??

SterlingS · 06/03/2013 16:25

Yes MummaPanda am up and down every 20 mins at work it feels like - surel everyone thinks I am ill, especially as I look tired and spaced out too!!

pegster · 06/03/2013 16:29

Congratulations & welcome Posabelle
Feeling very tired today, had a long nap when DS went down for his but have woken up nauseous now Hmm Will try to have to have a sneaky eat without DS noticing!

Posabelle · 06/03/2013 16:30

So glad I am not alone! Thanks for welcomes. :)
I can't stop weeing, boobs are killing me, and also seem to be way hotter than usual. In a right old sweat. But no other symptoms yet. Not too tired but its very early days. I'm SO happy but now also so scared!

GinSling82 · 06/03/2013 16:33

Congrats and welcome Posa. Yes I have done bin thing too! I've lost count of how many tests I've done since getting that first positive. Like you William I've also been using those digital tests to watch the conception indicator move from 1-2, then 2-3 and I'm doing another tomorrow which will hopefully say 3+.

I don't really have many pg symptoms, I did feel really tired but now I'm on nights its hard to distinguish pg tired from working nights tired. My boobs are sore but not as much as they were... I'm actually wishing for some morning sickness so I have something to make me feel pregnant! Shock

MTB82 · 06/03/2013 17:04

Hi to all the newbies and huge congratulations. It really is great to be able to chat here to prevent me spilling the news elsewhere!

Gin I've been doing the same with the conception indicators. Unused up my 2 tests (fairly reframed I think) but so tempted to buy another pack to see if I've moved along to 3+.

Not feeling too bad but definitely feeling more nauseous each morning, the train journey into work this morning was a very queasy affair. Feeling v tired but wake up every night to pee (which then seems to continue all day-so snap on that symptom to those who mentioned!) Aside from that still not feeling very pregnant!

getoffthecoffeetable · 06/03/2013 17:41

mrstwinks loving the image of you riding round in the car with the window open and your head hanging out!
Congratulations new ladies, make yourself at home < hands out biccies for those of you that can stomach them>
Have spoken to best friend last night and another best friend came over this afternoon and managed to keep Schtum, very proud if myself! Am bursting to tell but at the same time, quite enjoying having a secret that nobody else knows except DH and I.
Have had a monster headache all day, anyone else? I read it's normal to get headaches at this stage because of hormone surges.
Is your DD any better suffolk?

Spanish I was referred to the recurrent miscarriage consultant after two mcs last year. I have no idea why it was done early, the epu nurse gave me the details of the consultant in the same breath as she said that the baby was dead so I didn't question it. I also had tests but not the genetic ones as I didn't qualify. The tests were inconclusive. I was told to call back when I got my bfp and now have regular scans and am taking aspirin and progesterone. one of my mates with 3 previous mcs was only put on aspirin but did also got early scans. It does seem inconsistent, my consultant has only just got a scanner in her office so can scan you whenever she wants.

getoffthecoffeetable · 06/03/2013 18:10

At least DD has got you there for lots of mummy cuddles suffolk
okavango it sounds like you've really been through the mill. Here's hoping that this one sticks

okavango · 06/03/2013 18:40

thanks coffee it is horrific but there are lots of us on the thread who have been there too and you just have to stay positive. Having said that we have told no one and won't do so til we have to!

vix206 · 06/03/2013 19:34

Up until a few days ago I had terrible headaches too. Now I'm almost symptom free, but then I think I am the earliest out of all of us on here still!

Dizzy81 · 06/03/2013 20:09

Hi all, got a positive test yesterday! Edd 8th November with my first child.

Am feeling tired all the time, headaches and ravenous. Oh and there's the dizzy spells. But I know it will be worth it.

I've got my first drs appointment next week am 4 weeks + 5. Am excited, nervous and apprehensive at the same time. Looking forward o the scan.

Ive read that most people are getting stomach pains, lie period cramps. How long does this last for?

Love to you all

Xxx

MotherOfCleo · 06/03/2013 20:32

Hi dizzy welcome Smile I'm 5 weeks today and my edd is 7th of November so we are pretty well matched Smile

ok ladies, query, I have a kind of throbbing pain, well not pain as it doesnt hurt but its an odd feeling, so far ive not had any cramping at all so this is totally new, should I be worried? Confused

getoffthecoffeetable · 06/03/2013 21:02

I've got a throbbing kind of feeling too mother
I think it's normal, uterus stretching kind of stuff

MotherOfCleo · 06/03/2013 21:05

phew.....thanks coffee', see, I say I want symptoms, then panic when anything different happens.

MTB82 · 06/03/2013 21:14

mother think that goes for all of us. I'm exactly the same; it's all just new and exciting yet terrifying.

Fairydogmother · 06/03/2013 21:19

I'm having a mini panic. There was a tiny bit of brownish discharge when I got undressed earlier and def having a few crampy pains. I know others have reported this but it's the first time it's happened to me!

Argh I know I'm overanalysing here

Fakebook · 06/03/2013 21:27

Hi everyone. I've had another symptomless day today. Don't really feel pregnant at all apart from going to wee slightly more than usual. I'm getting a cold though and I can feel something festering at the back of my throat; this happens to me every time I fall pregnant.

Is anyone else with children finding that they're getting more hugs and snuggles from them than usual? My dd is 5 and came and gave me a massive hug out of nowhere yesterday and snuggled her head into my belly. My DS is 1 and won't leave my side he's constantly wanting me to pick him up and hug him. Dd did this with me when I was pregnant with DS too.

MotherOfCleo · 06/03/2013 21:31

mtb you hit the nail on the head, thats exactly how I feel. Confused

MotherOfCleo · 06/03/2013 21:32

fairy this is my first so I have no idea, sorry. I think some cramping and spotting is quite common tho Hmm
