Mooll Huge congratulations. Absolutely love the name Clementine its beautiful and a bit different which is what I like.

Hope you are recovering well. I can't believe how many are being born so early. Sounds like she is doing great and pretty much bang on average in weight for the number of weeks isn't she.

DP was just trying to organise a night out with his friend who he wants to be usher at the wedding. He suggested the week before my due date I had to remind him that I needed him sober just in case I go into labour

Afm, on maternity leave now except for 1 more half day. Am loving it and would be all domestic if the oven hadn't broken. Just enjoying the calm before the storm...

Evening,

Went to work today after working all weekend then had mon/tues off. Regretted it as I even walked in ... Had no sleep for two nites as sooo sore. Spent day in agony and I've given in and rung in sick for rest of week ( work open 24/7) got nhs physio on Friday... See if that helps/waste of time.... May be back next week or off til 2014....don't like letting people down but they don't care about me... It was 2.30pm before had time for lunch yet again..

32w 6d.... Was due to start leave in two weeks... X

aberjen · 04/04/2013 07:19

Awww, scooby Sad Sounds to me like you've done absolutely the right thing for you and bubs, and you certainly haven't 'given in'. I think sometimes it can be easy/tempting to play down how we're feeling at the mo because we're 'just' pregnant, but ultimately, if you take pregnancy out of the equation, would you go to work if you were 'just' suffering chronic pain that meant you couldn't sleep/function properly and spent much of the day in agony? I know I wouldn't. And I don't think my job is even half as demanding as yours sounds. I also have a friend who couldn't work for years because of a chronic pain condition. I think people can really underestimate the impact pain can have on your life.

Sorry, that turned into a bit of an essay, hopefully you see what I mean Smile Hope things ease up for you with some R&R

babygeek · 04/04/2013 08:15

Congratulations MooLL, hope you are both doing really well. Clementine is a gorgeous name. I'm liking all the fab name choices that we have on this thread Grin

Scooby, your work situation sounds pretty stressful under normal conditions let alone being heavily pregnant, sleep deprived and in lots of pain!! Get some rest and don't be too hard on yourself. If you push yourself too hard then you run the risk of getting very ill as well. Take care x Brew

Boodstress · 04/04/2013 09:44

I totally agree with the others scooby. You have to put the baby first which by default means putting you first. Your well being is paramount. If try don't see that, tough. It's clear your a conscientious person anyway. Get lots of rest.

Three weeks to section and a week and a half of holidays left with two crazy boys.. How's your luck.. Anti shower on sat with all my girlfriends though.. Really look forward to that. I'm gonna bring a 'sorry you're leaving ' helium balloon to mark my departure from sanity :-)

Boodstress · 04/04/2013 09:45

Not try...they ... Stoooopid iPad keyboard

Ellypoo · 04/04/2013 10:03

Wow - huge congrats on the safe arrival of Clementine MooLL - such a beautiful name, and a great weight too xx fantastic that she is doing so well already, I hope they help to get your bp down soon xxx

tasmaniandevilchaser · 04/04/2013 10:43

Moo congrats!love the name, great news she's doing so well already and you're being looked after.

Scooby, I'd go off sick in a heartbeat in your position. I really wouldn't think twice about staying off sick. I think at 36 wks mat leave would kick in. Rest up and take care.

I'm in a rubbish state, not sleeping, fretting generally. Tried to get a bit of rest this am with DD watching cbeebies in bed with me, she ended up knocking things over on DH's bedside table, which started a cascade of disasters, lots of things broken, drenched in water, me sobbing with tiredness and just generally fed up. Sad and I'm starting to swell up.
35+2 fed up and fat
