Also now over analysing everything I did this weekend! Needless to say, I had a glass of champagne, went in a steam room for 5 mins, went in a hydrotherapy pool and think I must have now damaged my baby!

chuck I have a few absent days of baby not really moving, when I had my 16wk scan he was upside down n more facing into my bank Sonographer said thats probably why. But do ring mw if your concerned xx

wavesandsmiles · 04/03/2013 11:22

chuck hope you get some peace of mind soon. I found that ice cream seems to set my baby off, maybe an excuse to tuck into some?

My little one is bouncing away and I have no idea where it is getting the energy from as I feel like I am wasting away. Vomiting continues and resigning myself to another hospital admission as the dipsticks I have at home show that I am yet again very dehydrated. I am finding that although my little bump means that my pre pregnant higher cut jeans and trousers don't do up now, my hipsters are falling down as I walk about so looks like I'll be buying belts as opposed to maternity clothes for now.

On a positive note, I'm looking forward to my 20 week scan next week.

Chuckaluck · 04/03/2013 13:31

Thanks everyone, feeling a bit better as baby gave me a definate jab earlier, think I might try the ice cream later though! Smile

Although my feeling of being a bad mother was added to earlier by the fact that I rung the hospital to see why my 20 week scan was when I will be 22 weeks pregnant and told it was because of my BMI, I assume baby should be bigger and they will be able to see more through the blubber!

Waves - poor you, hope things do get a bit better for you soon Smile

RememberingMyPFEs · 04/03/2013 15:38

Chuck, I've had the same thing. Sproglet went quiet on me for about 5 days and as I'm in India I decided a million horrid things had affected her then a couple of nights ago DH put his ear to my belly, said hello and got hoofed in the chin.
Hope you get hoofed soon WinkThanks

RememberingMyPFEs · 04/03/2013 15:39

Oooh, dunno why I wrote her there Blush

OxfordToLondoner · 04/03/2013 22:34

Have been away for a while but am SO glad I'm back...the Jeremy Beadle dream thing made me laugh out loud (too old for LOL). I had a fantastically filthy dream about my 'first love' and a guy I'm working with lots (not a threesome I hasten to add)....am finding it tricky to look him in the eye!

MrsWajs · 05/03/2013 08:42

Mayan Sorry to hear about your MIL.

Can't believe lots of you are nearly 20 weeks already. I'm still only 14+2! Don't see MW again til 24 weeks apart from when i have my 20 week scan (18th April) so seems like ages away!!
I am most definitely in maty clothes now but panicking slightly that it's all cake and no baby!! Re: stretchmarks, i never got any last time (my mum has a tummy like a road map) but DD was born the day after her her due date. I'm worried that i've put on so much weight already that i'll be huge this time and go 2 weeks overdue and end up with hundreds of them!!!

I still haven't been added to the fb page. Could someone pm me??

FoofFighter · 05/03/2013 10:05

mrswasj I went over 2wks with ds1 and 5 days with ds2 I didn't get any on tummy at all. Mum has loads too, I'm sure ul be fine :) are you due on the 31st of august? I'm 17+3 and still mega jealous of all the nearly 20wk ladies but it is going quite quick though xx

MrsWajs · 05/03/2013 12:14

Officially my due date is 1st September but i'm sticking with my own date of 30th August!! I know it's only 2 days but i don't like the idea of it being a completely different month!
I looked on the September thread but it's huuuge so think i'll just stay here!

Saw your pm foof but can't reply on my phone for some reason. Will reply when i get to a computer. :)

RugBugs · 05/03/2013 12:16

Apologies for the daily fail link but it does include a good reason to eat chocolate www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2288138/Babys-sex-Old-wives-tales-say-shape-bump-key-scientific-truth-surprising.html

Don't have anything much to update apart from that one of my cats has developed a taste for my ovaltine Shock I now have to guard my drinks!

wavesandsmiles · 05/03/2013 12:18

Back in hospital again. Waiting for a cannula to be put in, ouchy times await. At least I made it to my appointment with the consultant and got to see the baby who looked super happy. Very wriggly and plenty of amniotic fluid. Was only a quick peak, proper 20 week scan is next Thursday.

19 weeks exactly today

MrsWajs · 05/03/2013 12:23

Aww waves :( hope you pick up after 20 weeks.

Hi Ladies,

Can I join you? I have been lurking since I had my bfp waaaay back in November but due to mc last year did not want to join until I felt confident things were going to be ok.

I am due 4th Aug with DC3(!!) Will be DH first though. Will add myself to stats thread.

Waves Hope you feel better soon, must be really tiring for you all this in and out of hospital.

Re GTT you ladies were talking about previously, I have also been referred for one due to BMI alone (31). I decided to cancel as hadn't had any problems in previous pregnancies and I don't really see how me being like 7lbs heavier this time around would increase my risk so much. I told my mw at 16 week appointment that I was going to cancel and she just said "ok". I'm sure if it was that important in my case she would have advised me to have it.

Feeling little flutters of movements but nothing major at the moment.

beckie90 · 05/03/2013 17:12

Welcome trixie can I please have your due date? Haha. I want baby to come abit earlier and be born on 4th of august as its dp birthday. I'm also on Dc3 :)

Aww so sorry to hear that waves

mrswas Yeaa stay with us :) Sep thread is HUGE lol

Morning sickness started back at 17+3?? Strange

FoofFighter · 05/03/2013 17:23

Welcome Trixie :) Congratulations to you :) I also had a mc last year, am on my DC3 but Oh's DC1 :)

I shall be cancelling my GTT if there's no other reason/symptom as I had one at 11wks and it made me feel bloody awful, nearly passed out in the middle of town :/ I don't see the need unless there are symptoms?! Waste of NHS money surely??

mrswajs, don't you dare defect to September, we shan't let you!

Waves, how lovely that you got a sneaky peek, things like that must help you tremendously, keeping up your spirits etc :)

think I may be brewing a uti :( feel the need to pee constantly but not much coming out when I do go, plus a teeny bit of dull back ache around the kidneyish area. I have bought two cartons of ocean spray to chuff tonight along with plenty of water and if still feeling the same tomorrow will ring MW and ask if it's her or GP I need, and get seen.

Hey ladies, been absent for a couple of days been hectic with birthdays, work etec. Finally a bit of peace and quiet!

Waves Sorry to hear your unwell again, fingers crossed that it eases after 20 weeks.
Trixie welcome :)

Still haven't felt any movement should I be worried at 18+1? Well I'm worried anyway but should I be? I know Peanut could be hiding, but I'm panicking now.

Abilee90 · 05/03/2013 20:27

No dont worry about movement hun. Its hard to know wht to look out for with first. Its like popping to start off with and then it becomes more defined. Unlesa there is bleeding or cramping then you shouldnt be worried. U need to remember baby is only 14cm long and weigh about 9oz.

My dd has chicken pox i think :/ blooming typical.

I have a very active baby tonight and i bought him some really cute mr men vests today :)
Xx

GaryBuseysTeeth · 05/03/2013 20:42

No need to worry stacey, some people don't feel it until gone 20+ weeks.

Abi, oh no! Hope she's ok...and at least she's getting it out the way now.

Foof, I'd go to GP's, at least you'll get the drugs that way quicker if it is a uti!

Welcome Trixie!

I didn't get stretch marks with DS until 38wks, they're all faded aside from a large one next to my belly button. They're all starting to appear again, but not angry, red or itchy atm.
Not looking forward to the itchy bump stage!

FoofFighter · 05/03/2013 20:45

Hi Stacey, no need to worry, I go for days without feelign anything, then it shifts position and I feel it again. Am slowly learning to stop worrying about it :)

my breasts are like bloody cannonballs again, so so sore and heavy and TMI my nipples are bright pink/ raw looking and sore too, had to resort to putting some cream on them.

Appetite is increasing and tiredness is too, feels like the first weeks all over again!
