beckie and abi two boys, how lovely! Congratulations!
Sorry to hear the news about your not-so-DP, though, beckie. I hope you get everything sorted out with minimum stress to you.
Dave glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped. Could it be something like cervical erosion? Someone at my NCT group had that, and had bleeding on and off, but had a healthy (big!) baby. Hope the midwife can reassure you tomorrow.
foof a facebook group sounds like an excellent idea. I think you need to create the group and then tell us what it's called, and we just search for it?? Not really sure tbh, but we did it with the May 2010 group so it much be possible!!
waves sorry to hear you are still so unwell, and your DH and his DC are not helping at all. Your DC sound lovely, you must be very proud of them.
ruck very envious of you on the beach. Has anyone told you it was below zero here this morning?!
cakebaby welcome to the thread.
Have just come back from a weekend away at the MILs. Had a lovely day trip out to Hawkshead, which was beautiful - very very cold but bright and sunny so managed a bit of a walk with the kids. Unfortunately had to stay at MILs, which is a germ pit - they have two cats who are allowed on all the surfaces in the kitchen, and two shetland ponies, and they never wash their hands nor do they believe in anti-bacterial sprays etc. At the risk of sounding like a neat freak, I cannot stand it - I have now resorted to taking my own anti-bac wipes and surreptitiously cleaning the kitchen and bathroom before the kids go in. Despite this, me and the kids have come back with rotten colds. DH is made of sterner stuff (and an immune system that it used to the germs!) and has escaped, lucky him. I like my MIL but she has a new partner after my FIL died when DH was 18 (before I knew him), and the new partner is just awful - a Fellow of Physics at one of the Cambridge colleges, you just cannot chat to him, it all has to be a Proper Discussion. He also has never had nor wanted kids, and makes it very clear that he can only barely tolerate my two so am constantly shushing, tidying up and generally trying to keep them out of the way when we are in the house. Too much like hard work for me. Just booked in for the Easter weekend and will then use the baby as an excuse not to go for a good long while after that!
16 week MW appt for me tomorrow - trying to remember if I need to take a sample, and if I do, have I got a suitable container?!! DS also back at school, so been packing bags all evening and trying to remember what he needs. He's only had a week off, but baby brain has well and truly kicked in!!
