Fingers crossed for you photographer. If it's at all reassuring, I had the same with dc1 at 16 and again at about 22 weeks and all was fine, so it can just be one of those things as Ama says. Really hoping you get good reassurance tonight.

Vinegar, sorry baby wasn't behaving!! Better luck next week.

Congrats on the scan quin, had mine this morning too - was also amazed at how much we saw. Have a pic of baby with legs crossed and hands behind head - very chilled! Funny that the next time we see it, it'll be on the outside! Didn't find out...after much dilemmaing!

Photographer fingers crossed everything gets cleared up at the hospital.

Doing some phonic work with the kidlets today and my darling boys managed to turn syllables into 'silly balls', this was a great hoot in class... Then there was the 'ow' handwriting where blowing was turned into blowing off, another hoot... All fun and games today!

Congrats on scans cut and vinegar - and hurray for bonus extra scan vinegar. Ds1's 20 week scan had to be redone for the same reasons - was lovely to have an opportunity to see him again.

Thanks guys. And thanks for the birthday wishes for DS1. We have had a few family birthdays recently so he knows all about birthdays meaning presents and cake! He knows he is going to be 2 (he loves numbers and letters) and we have been counting down the days for a while!

Currently wrestling with wrapping a balance bike (second hand bargain Islabike Rothan - we are a biking family so he is desperate for his own) then need to ice his cake.

Wednesday is my day off anyway and my Mum is coming for lunch. We might hit his beloved "indoor playground" (soft play) in the afternoon before cake and tea with DH when he gets in.

morning all, just logged on for a bit of a catch up (been busy refereeing the children with half term this week). worried about photographer do hope that you are ok and that hospital gave you some reassurance last night. have my fingers crossed for you.

Morning all - hope all ok with you and baby Photographer. Happy birthday to the mini Vinegar guzzler - sounds like he is going to have a lovely day today.

Am way behind on this thread atm but saw your post Photographer. Fingers and toes crossed that all is ok. I'm another one who's had a bleed and it is horrible and nasty even if people reassure you it's probably ok. I really do hope all is fine for you.

Morning ladies. Thank you for the well wishes and everything seems to be "just one of those things". We ended up waiting about in hospital til 3am. A&E was pretty quick with blood tests and just making sure I was upright but when they sent me to gynea it was full of pregnant ladies waiting for examination. One poor girls DP embarrassed the life out of her by sitting in the waiting room telling us and the world on the phone about her unbearable constipation.

Finally four hours in a chair they checked the babies heartbeat and examined me and everything looked ok. Just told me if I had anymore bleeding to come back. So we sleepily came home and I slept in til 11 after taking the day off to rest. Feel a lot better and do far no bleeding.

So it's bed rest and pancakes today, thanks again for the friendly reassurance I peeked on mumsnet around midnight and started to feel more at ease.

So glad you and baby are ok photographerlady. Only just seen this as the wait for getting my leaky radiator fixed was considerably shorter than expected so I spent my evening shifting the junk that has been collecting in our bedroom while DH moved furniture out of the way. Hope you enjoy your rest and pancakes.

And thanks for birthday wishes for mini Vinegar. He woke up this morning saying "My is 2! My has got presents"! He is currently being spoilt rotten by grandparents.

Glad you're okay photographer! I had a friend who bled off and on throughout her pregnancy... No explanation for it at all but she and the baby were both totally fine. I'm sure you both will be too but ou can't get enough rest (or pancakes) so enjoy your day!
