That's quite a dream Librarina!

I was definitely grouchy, cranky, irritable, pregnant lady last night. No idea why really, although I was tired from a rubbish night's sleep the night before. Had a good sleep last night so feel a bit brighter today. Plus we're off to a taping of Beat The Pack tonight - new BBC show hosted by Jake Humphreys. Should be a bit of a laugh!

bringonthetrumpets · 12/02/2013 14:10

Yeah, I'm alright. I think I fell into a bit of a slump with the kids being home an extra day, them being sick and extremely needy, and then getting absolutely NO help from DH over the weekend due to his own neediness and wanting to chat about his stomach ailments. I was having a "poor-me" day and was just so fed up with taking care of everyone, cleaning up after everyone, and just doing it on my own. I have a new respect for single parents! DH made the mistake of coming home from work (1 in the afternoon, our time) to watch the Liverpool game and then said before he left to go back to work "Don't worry about dinner". So I was so relieved and took it as him stepping up and planning something for dinner. What he really meant was "Don't worry about making me dinner, but you still have to figure out something for the picky, grouchy, starving children who you waited until 6:30 to feed because you misinterpreted what I said" I was NOT a very nice pregnant lady last night. I felt so left down! And he said that I was the one "not communicating" Hmm

OhThePlacesYoullGo · 12/02/2013 14:11

Haha loving the dreams. :D

What do you guys think: Elysia or Cecilia. Middle name will be Violet (after partner's GM) and it's L.-G. for (quite long, double barrelled) surname. We are discussing names again and can't decide (even though ultimately I am refusing to completely decide until we meet her).

Librarina · 12/02/2013 14:35

I love Cecilia Violet.

I struggle with the spelling of Elysia, I'm not immediately sure of how it should be pronouced, but I'm sure if I heard it right I'd like it.

I'm still wondering whether to give the baby the double barrelled version of our name or simplify things and give it my surname as a middle, and DH's as a surname on its own.

(My surname is cool. Think a British spy. Think THE British spy!)

OhThePlacesYoullGo · 12/02/2013 14:42

Ooooh that is a fab surname!! Love the idea of it as a middle name actually. Do your names work well together?

Elysia is derived from Elysium, we'd pronounce it like the second version.

bringonthetrumpets · 12/02/2013 16:14

I really love the name Cecilia. It was a name I liked and DH didn't. :)

I really like that name Lib! Awesome, it's gotta be incorporated in your baby's name somehow.

Well, off to the midwives. One of my favorite things about being pregnant, getting to hang out with two amazing and beautifully-spirited women for an hour! Then pizza with DH at my fav pizza place. I'm excited!

kittykatsforever · 12/02/2013 19:15

Oh bring, glad to see you have more of a cheer today and that pizza is on the menu! Wink Typical male meaning just don't worry about me!!
I had mw app today aswell just to get form really but she did the usual checks, nothing exciting to report!
Tried to give dd a treat tonight with pancakes ( sugar and syrup) she acted like she was being poisoned and threw them on the floor!! Yet give her a bowl of carrots and she woofs them down! fenikity buggar
I like the name choices oh the places, not the usual although cecilia even more uncommon, I love violet too, I quite like indigo but worry its not a name iyswim! Suggested indianna to dh but its a boys name apparently??
Great surname lib! I'd have kept it if I'd have got married and made dh take it! I couldn't wait to get rid of mine ( think ken and the diddy men!! Oh the funny are you related comments ha ha ha)

bringonthetrumpets · 12/02/2013 19:24

So, I'm apparently measuring a full 3 weeks ahead of schedule Hmm and babe is laying completely across my bump instead of up and down. Otherwise apt was wonderful, as always, and pizza was DELISH!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/02/2013 17:20

Hello ladies. Pizza sounds yummy.
My stress levels are through the roof, and I really want a glass of wine. so I have virtual Wine for us all to pretend to drink.

bringonthetrumpets · 13/02/2013 17:22

I'll join you for a glass. Woooo!

kittykatsforever · 13/02/2013 19:31

My stress levels arnt through the roof but god I fancy a drink, really wanted one this last week, maybe a little treat for valentines tomorrow?
In the meantime Wineto you

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/02/2013 19:37

Do you reckon if I phone the people who are raising my Angry stress levels every single day they'll get sick of me and provide what I demand? [Hmm] How long do you reckon it will take?
Wine Wine Wine

kittykatsforever · 13/02/2013 20:16

Ha ha it'd work on me I would t want to face an angry pregnant woman daily Wink

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/02/2013 20:57

Hmm 100g galaxy chocolate = seriously booting baby. Who'd have thought it.

kittykatsforever · 13/02/2013 21:02

Have I started a galaxy chocolate epedemic?! Lol

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/02/2013 21:12

Nah, I have a daily chocolate epidemic all of my own kitty but cadburys doesn't have the same effect on bumpy, he's still going now.

Jojobump1986 · 13/02/2013 23:53

I found galaxy to be particularly bump-wriggling-inducing too. It took me ages to get to sleep due to all the kicking. I have at least one creme egg a day & that doesn't seem to cause any jiggling! Confused

Alcohol has a funny effect on me so I v rarely drink but I'll join in the virtual Wine sharing peer pressure! Hope you're ok Frus. Keep pestering until you get your way. Everyone can be worn down eventually! Wink

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 14/02/2013 07:27

Creme eggs do nothing do they jojo good to hear someone say that everyone can be worn down eventually, lets hope it's them before me, because my reserves are low.

bringonthetrumpets · 14/02/2013 14:13

Mmm, creme eggs.....

Dh was talking to the bump this morning and asked baby if it was kicking-it kicked him right in the spot his cheek was laying. Very entertaining :)

kittykatsforever · 14/02/2013 15:01

Ok admission... Please don't throw me off the bus but I don't like cadburys creme eggs < hides under pillow for safety> I don't think I know anyone else
But I do love the Malteser bunnys!

bringonthetrumpets · 14/02/2013 18:11

All sweets-loving May and June preganistas are welcome. No worries, Kitty Dh doesn't like them either. :)

Yoga this morning was spectacular-first time trying out a new studio, definitely making this a regular thing for the rest of the pregnancy. Then I went and ruined all the hard work eating a piece of pie

kittykatsforever · 14/02/2013 18:21

Grin Isn't meep the cutest word!

Lorelei353 · 14/02/2013 18:51

I LOVE Cadburys Creme Eggs. That is all. Grin

Jojobump1986 · 14/02/2013 19:35

Yay! Creme egg love! Grin

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 14/02/2013 19:57

I usually like them, but I am finding them quite sickly sweat at the moment. which isn't usually a problem
