10 I hope that you have already gone in to get checked over.My braxton hicks have never been regular but then I never really had them until this pregnancy so not sure what I'm looking for.Fingers crossed it is just them and that any scans show you're continuing to heal.

I'm at work today and shattered already. We have half term here next week so ill probably find it hard entertaining my other two when all I want to do us sleep Smile

Morning,,

10- hope ur ok. I had tons of braxton hicks with DS and they were frequent and regular- my DH could actually see the contractions in my tummy! We made it to 39 weeks though but I was signed off for a month due to the BH as they wer concerned I could be a sign of ISP of early labour as so frequent and regular. Essentially BH are fine bu defo get the, checked ou especially with your history xx

So.... In new house!!!! Yay!!

Kinda have some organised rooms... Sky man here as I type and BT failed to show yesteay for the second day... They had to come and fit lanline for orange and have just not turned up twice despite promises and no calls.... Not impressed..!

Sadly it looks like DS has woken up with chicken pox!

10- crossed posts!

Completely understandable to be scared and overwhelmed but you have great care by the sounds of it... And you get to meet your baby very soon... Yay! I'm sure all will be fine- lots of weeks have passed since your scares and nearly 28 weeks is very very good odds. Thinking of you all xxxx

Oh 10 how scary for you but you are in the right place and it sounds like they have it all under control. I am keeping everything crossed for you xx

MammaBrussels · 09/02/2013 13:11

10 good luck ((hugs)). Are you happy with the hospital's SCU? If not, would they move you back to Liverpool Women's? Don't be afraid to ask questions/ insist on seeing a consultant/ kick up a fuss.

Is there anyone there with you?

You'd feel overwhelmed, underprepared and scared if you were 40 weeks too (but probably less so).

My mum was less than 2lbs when she was born in 1951, she was considered a bit of a miracle back then. Now it's an everyday thing for a baby to be born at this stage, hospitals know how to look after tiny ones.

Take care and good luck

Good luck 10. I echo what the others have said.

I know a fair few preemies including a 24 an 28 weeker. All of them very happy stories. Has to be a good sign : )

We'll all be thinking of you and checking in regularly. Flowers fit you and bubba 10

10 great you have your family there, poor DH but sounds like he is being looked after too. Glad you are local to home, must be nice to know you are not far.

Are you able to get any rest or is it all go?

MammaBrussels · 09/02/2013 14:25

Glad you're happy with the hospital and have people around to support you. Sending positive vibes your way. Hope you've got your camera!

10 so glad you are in hospital and can be looked after. It must be so difficult for you right now but as everyone says, the odds are good at this stage and is brilliant that you have had steriod injections over the past few weeks :)

Take care and will be thinking of you Thanks [tea] Biscuit

babygeek · 09/02/2013 14:43

WildeRumpus · 09/02/2013 14:52

sorry x-post 10. Am so happy you have your camera and are all organised. Despite it not being the optimum of circumstances you are going to meet your baby this weekend and that is very exciting! Good luck! :)

BeauticianNotMagician · 09/02/2013 15:39

10 Good luck hope all goes well. Are you 28 weeks now.Its good that labour has slowed as sounds like they have plenty of time to help him with steroids. He sounds like a very strong baby anyway.

Keep us posted Thanks

BeauticianNotMagician · 09/02/2013 15:44

Scooby Yay for the house move.Sounds like all is going well.Aside from the BT man.I can't stand BT have always had trouble.

I get Youview in a few weeks am getting rid of sky have saved about £40 with new package.Which of course is a huge help with me not going back to work for a little while after baby arrives.

SevenReasonsToSmile · 09/02/2013 17:17

10 I've got everything crossed for you, good to hear you're bring well taken care of. Is it possible they might let you have a look round SCBU so it's a bit less daunting when LO arrives?

I wonder how often the rest of us will be checking on here for the rest of the weekend!
