Clarella · 18/11/2012 10:57

Have to say although i am pretty keen not to be pregnant and really want to meet lo Envy i am rather relieved im not in labour this weekend- mass room decant/drilling of random things/filling/ painting/dampdusting floorboards #35 has commenced today in order for carpet lay next sat, builders on weds and bt line guy tomorrow which is more complicated than i thought as dh has just shown me a guided tour of floor boards marked with crosses, holes in ceilings with sticks poking though and routes to lay said line as hes teaching at uni all day. Yup this baby needs to stay put thankyou! But thoroughly enjoying the excitement here! Maybe 3 new babies by end of thread?!

Bellaboo123 · 18/11/2012 11:03

Bets on LOL!

Secondsop · 18/11/2012 11:04

clarella I feel the same - work starts on our bathroom renovation tomorrow morning so the baby had better stay put for a week longer at least! Am desperate to meet him but if I find out my induction date will be a bit later, my consolation is to get the kitchen floor redone during the extra time.

Clarella · 18/11/2012 11:32

Oh dear secondsop - make sure you have an emergency loo plan in place so you dont have to resort to a saucepan as i did its great to be getting everything done but tad stressful as due to the chronic disorganisation and constant bodges the building work (quoted at 6 weeks, translated as 3 months still continuing after 7 months) has pushed our other stuff back hence this mad last minute mayhem! Mind you, nothing like scrubbing floors to bring a baby on!!

Secondsop · 18/11/2012 12:15

We have a downstairs loo as well clarella thank goodness! (Well thank goodness for it generally - I've had a couple of close shaves in the last few weeks!

SEVEN months of work?! How have you kept your sanity?

brooke89 · 18/11/2012 12:29

Thank you ladies I have a huge grin on my face today Grin

Well no more news from pidg hopefully she's pushing away!

Just went in town and attempted to start my Christmas shopping, feeling completely wiped now so come home and resorting to sofa and online shopping for the rest of it!

PurplePidjin · 18/11/2012 13:14

15 hours and 3cm Hmm

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 18/11/2012 13:36

Oh pidj chin up, baby will be here soon. Keep active and eat if you can.

SpottyTeacakes · 18/11/2012 13:43

Oh pidj try not to be disheartened! It will suddenly kick off. Remember all the things like keeping moving, upright, eat, drink, rest. We're all thinking of you!!

PurplePidjin · 18/11/2012 14:37

I'm flying on codeine and managed an hours nap! Tens finger stayed awake enough to deal with contractions. Hoping this is all prep for a big push - induction at 7:30 tomorrow morning if I need chemical assistance :)
