Hiya, sorry about being AWOL. I realized I haven't posted in so long that it kicked me off of "I'm on" threads.

It's been a very long past week or so. Two births with kind of bad outcomes (1 was something that happened to a mum, the other a baby). Seeing the babe in NICU with all of the machinery and equipment made me so weepy and so thankful for my two healthy boys. Praying this baby develops normally so we never have to go through something like that. Also is really making me question on whether I can keep going with midwifery training (yeah, it's been that bad).

I hope I haven't freaked anyone out. I've been to so many lovely births with many, many healthy mums and babies-but it's just been a lot to process, which is very hard when you're growing a little one of your own!

Looks like we are all in the same symptoms boat now. Queasy on and then starving and then queasy again along with extreme tiredness has been my story this week!

Oh dear hormonal frus, hormones are miserable mean things aren't they. Could you give yourself a little treat or something to cheer you up today?

I'm too spaced and vacant to cheer up. I think I might wallow for a few more days first. an though some stewed steak and chips might help. Mmm comfort food.

Urgh. Food. Don't come anywhere near me with that stuff! Can't seem to eat more than 1 cracker without feeling sick! It's getting worse too! I just want to cry! I'm now avoiding seeing people & just want to hide in bed all day! No idea how I'm going to cope with this for another 6 weeks! I feel really pathetic though! I know someone who had HG & was hospitalised several times throughout her pregnancy & I'm whining about feeling a little nauseated! But then she didn't have another one demanding attention! I think I'd cope better with feeling really ill for a short period of time each day than this constant low level nausea! Hmph.

So to answer your question Thund, no. Noone is feeling cheerful because I'll hit them if they are & then they won't be anymore. Everyone must be as miserable as me.

Heehee! Sorry! I wasn't in a good mood this morning... Can you tell?! I've managed to eat a whole chocolate biscuit now so I think my blood sugar is coming back up & I'm feeling a little more sane! It's definitely a blood sugar thing! & not just that I'm a moody cow with a dry sense of humour atm!

I actually do have a toy polar bear! His name is Parker & he's v cuddly! I'd like the kitten too... He can curl up on Parker's tummy & go to sleep! Awww! Not convincing anyone about my sanity am I?!
