Morning everyone! I reeeeally don't want to get up! On my to-do list today I have shopping, cleaning & starting cooking for DS's birthday party but have to fit that around having the dodgy oven looked at & having friends round tonight! Still don't want to get up though!

Good morning all. Sounds like it was a bit mental around here last night. Would love to have joined you but I was comatose on the couch by around 10pm. Could not wake up to go to bed. Not sure if it's pregnancy tiredness or just leftover tiredness from having got up so early on Sunday morning to fly back from Spain.
Still got a bit of the ole light-headedness going on. Just feel a bit detached in a way. No sickness yet though which is just fine by me.

Quick question from the newbie - for the 8 week, first appt. with my GP should my other half come with me? Will anything happen that he won't want to miss, or will it just be 'pee in a cup, and have a general chat'?

Lorelei I'm not taking DH to mine on Thursday. I think it is pee in a pot, blood test and general chat about family medical history. I think you hear the heartbeat at the second one so I may take DH to that if he is not working.

lor, if it's the gp appointment, I got weighed and blood pressure taken. No bloods, no piap, just a chat and given a couple of phone numbers. OH didn't come!
