Ah Pearly, I haven't had many of the classic 'symptoms', but I've had plenty of other stuff, most of it not smooth! Really hope you don't get clobbered by the nausea / sickness thing, that was something I was very grateful to escape!

Empusa! How are you doing? Did the sickness ever stop or has it been constant throughout? It sounded like you were going through the stuff of nightmares Hope you are ok. When is your baby due? Have you found out the flavour yet? Its really nice to see you!

The sickness is still going on, looks like I'll be throwing up all the way to the birth now. Luckily it's not as severe as at the beginning though. Baby is due April 7th, so not long left and it's a little boy. We've already named him Tristram.

pearly I also had very few symptoms early on, first symptom was probably enormous and tender boobs but can't remember when they appeared

How are you feeling pearly? Hope the symptoms are still at bay. I was like you until I hit 7 weeks and then the nausea set in Bleurghhh. Hope you are spared.

late how are you doing? How many weeks now? 26? I always try to count on from where I am as I think you're 5 weeks ahead? Could be wrong and probably am!

I was 26 weeks on Tuesday - the date was moved a bit by the sonographer.

Empusa, how lovely that you know you're having a little boy baby, and have chosen the name already - I'm so jealous . I can't imagine how you've managed to get through all these weeks with all that sickness, you must be looking forward to meeting your little one more than most!

Thanks all for the reassurance, been feeling more chilled out the last few days (got a nice fast dark positive on Monday!). Been having the odd occasion when I feel mildly queasy, but it goes when I eat. Am only 7 weeks today so we'll see how it goes! beeble hope things are going well with you and late sorry to hear it was an assumption that you've had a smooth time. No news here, been on a massive ebay and gumtree spree and have snared a fair few bargains! Really recommend if you don't mind second hand stuff for your PFBs!

flick When is your scan? Are you finding out if its a boy or a girl? Ebay is AWESOME. I got loads of new things for DD when she was born, I just didn't know where to look. Now I am a real bargain hunter. There are loads of facebook groups near me with people selling baby things on, they can be a great source of bargains too.

Hi flo, My scan is on Thursday but we already know it's a boy I had a check up because of my high blood pressure with a consultant at 17 weeks and he did a sneaky scan and there was a big willy waving around on the screen! We were planning on having a suprise but obviously was not meant to be. Will be glad to double check again!

Oooh how exciting, I must have missed that!

All the best for Thursday, don't worry if they can't see everything and you have to go back. That happened to most of the mums I know!

I'm still lurking Flick! Thats really good advice from Flo - they couldn't see all of T's heart at our scan and we had to go back in a week. Cue a week of absolute sickening panic when everything was in fact totally fine and its quite normal for that to happen. Gits for not telling me that in the first place! Good luck.

Thank you lovelies- will heed that advice. My 12 week scan was super thorough as it was done at a fetal Medicine specialist centre (just by chance happens that my hospital has it) so I have had a good look at the heart chambers and blood flow,kidneys,spine etc so am hoping that not too much will have changed over the past ten weeks and that all will still be well. Am feeling the baby kick lots now and Mr.Flick can feel some of the big ones from the outside too which is lovely.

Am very much enjoying looking at all of your gorgeous babies on FB!

feeling all the movements is so amazing, I will never forget the moment the first time my DH felt the baby hoof me. I'd love to know what it gets up to in there, it was throwing some shapes all morning - I was in a meeting and I was so sure people could see the bump rolling from side to side!

I feel like a whale at the moment, I miss my waist! I have heartburn and I can't put my shoes on easily any more - it's only going to get worse from here, isn't it!

Ahhhhh, lovely lovely bump Flick!!

Um, Late I could lie, but..... yes, its going to get worse. I had Gaviscon on prescription and was getting through one of those giant bottles a week by the end, just swigging away at all hours of the day and night. On the plus side - the heartburn disappeared the instant the baby was out.......

Which means that, yes, I did have heartburn all the way through labour too and Unbelievable.
