The news you all have been waiting for about Misdee!!!

Misdee delivered at 7:25pm, 5 minutes before I got there, after a 4 hour labour. She was 3cm dilated when she arrived at the hospital so they broke her waters at 3:30pm. I phoned at 6:40pm and was told to come in, but I couldn't work out the call button thing on the door so waited around for about 5 minutes, and missed it all, but she is beautiful, lots of black hair, weighs in at 7lb 13 and 1/2oz. Misdee is looking great and didn't need any stitches!!
Her name is Sherena Dixie (not sure if I have spelt her first name right) and she is soooooo pretty!!

Well done to Misdee. Congratulations to them all.
Its a shame that you missed the birth but at least you got to see her straight away. xxx

the midwifes let me stay too, but then again, I was her DH's lift home.

also it meant that I could help misdee afterward with food (which she threw up) and shower.
