some of you may remember that Steve died two years ago today.
tonight me and the kids will be raising a spoon of trifle, blowing bubbles and we have some sky lanterns that we are going to write messages on before letting them drift up into the sky.

I remember OJ, bubbles and sky lanterns are beautiful.

onlyjoking9329 · 11/06/2010 10:09

we did the bubbles and sky lantern last night as it had stopped raining.
it was lovely and elliot declared it the best death anniversary ever!
just fathers day and wedding anniversary to get throu and once they are out the way if i don't get any more hassle from the in-laws i can relax a bit and hope that they have given up causing us more grief.

I remember, I was thinking about you all just a few days ago as I knew it was this time of year.

Hope you and the little OJ's are bearing up OK

Much love

The sky lanterns are a lovely idea. We tied messages to balloons on Christmas Day and set the up to the sky for FIL & BIL

Lemonylemon · 11/06/2010 10:41

OJ I saw trifle and thought of you too. Can't believe it's 2 years. I remember thinking what a fantastic and strong person you were and I am sure you still are. Best wishes to you and your family.

scratchmyback · 12/06/2010 20:55

I remember as though it was 2 weeks ago, can't believe 2 years have gone already.

So glad you have such great memories and the dc's enjoyed what you did for Steve to mark the anniversary.

Cannot believe the IL's are still giving you grief...just what is wrong with them?

Stay strong OJ and so glad you have found some happiness again after the amazing way you cared for Steve through his illness.

OJ I too knew from the title it was you and I cannot believe it has been 2 years since Steve died. Every time I am in the dessert aisle of the supermarket and I look at those Gu trifles I think of Steve Much love to you and the children

prettybird · 14/06/2010 15:18

I too had been thinking about you in the last couple of days and wondering how you were getting on. And then I see this....

Your celebration of Steve's life sounds lovely.
