Brother's best friend been killed aged 29 today

Just had a phone call from my mum to say that my brother's best friend has died in a tragic accident today in New Zealand. He was only 29, a Doctor who helped people in every way he could. So so sad for his parents especially. Why is life so cruel?

My sisters best friends husband was killed nineteen years ago in a helicopter crash....his name was released before a lot of us knew........i sat down for my tea break at work and put on teletext and saw it.........i was totally hysterical(i was very close to him) My boss had to ring my mum and tell her he had died cos i was in no position to do it myself. Was a truly awful time.
