I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband passed away suddenly and unexpectedly 12 days ago he had just turned 50 ( I'm 41)

I'm so sorry for your loss, I lost my partner in March he was 66 but we thought fit and well. Sadly it tuned out that his heart wasn't. It is an awful time, the shock is the worst when you simply don't expect anything like this to happen. Sending un-mumsnetly hugs.

OP I wish you the best possible future, I lost my DW in 2019 after 37 years together since we were teenagers.
Its utterly heart breaking and makes you question WTF the world means anymore.
Just cling on to your hopes for the future.

What a terrible shock. It will be difficult over the next few weeks with a funeral to prepare for, but even harder after, once the reality he's gone starts to sink in. I'm so sorry you are both having to go through this @Scoose and @Abcdefghik. Sending kind thoughts and strength to you. Accept any help offered irl.

Sending lots of love to you at this time. I lost dh suddenly in April 2013 at the age of 39 and posted on here the same night.

In the coming weeks, look up WAY Widowed and Young if you are younger than 51. The charity helped me a great deal. I'm still here, ticking along, 10 years later and found a way to keep going. You will too. For now, take one moment, one minute, one hour at a time and accept all offers of help.
