Catthiefkeith funeral flowers thread.

Hi All, been putting this thread off as I haven't been able to face the reality and finality of it. Anyway, here it is.

I am going to get YANBU in flowers (possibly bright yellow - any other colour suggestions are welcome?) and take them along to the funeral of CTK. It would be lovely if there was lots of MN names to add to the chorus.

If you would like me to add your username then please post on this thread. (Some people have already pm'd me so they are already there - but can post below too of course if they wish). If you want to add a little message i am also happy to add that as well.

I shall take photos of the flowers and post them after the funeral. Cheers lovelies.

And me please. CTK's posts were always so funny, she seemed to be a wonderful, warm woman. What a bloody senseless tragedy.

Whilst I didn't know her, every time her name popped up... I knew I'd be laughing by the end of her opening posts. I didn't respond to the previous thread simply because - like so many, many others - I didn't want to believe the news.

She had such a way with words that it brought tears of genuine laughter to so many of our eyes, and she will be missed. Very much so. Like so many others, reading her posts lifted me out of the darkness caused by my daughter's instability, and made me smile, cry with laughter, and feel as though I were witnessing something special. My heart genuinely goes out to her family and "real-life" friends - they have lost someone with the rare ability to put others before herself, and leave them laughing, and I am so very sorry that they couldn't love and know her for longer.

I'm still in total shock, how can it be? So young, so funny, so open, so incredibly full of life. There should be an order to these things and the nasty, cunty, miserable bastards should go first.

I really miss her.

My heart goes out to her family & friends, please give all of them you know an extra big squish from me.

Can you let us know when the funeral is so we can have a quiet few minutes? X (Sorry if you've posted it on the other thread, I had to stop reading it).

Also, like Anarchy, I made a donation to Meningitis Now, in her name/memory. It's such a horrific disease and every penny donated goes towards finding a way to stop tragedies like this from ripping apart families and friendship groups. Sad

Thanks all, so nice to see so many names to add. CTK's husband messaged me to say how much CTK had loved MN and thanked all the MNers for saying 'such kind words about my beautiful wife'.

I think it will be great for everyone to see a long list of names to show how much she really was loved on here.

Anyone wanting to contribute money please pass it on to the meningitis charity thing SweetBabyJebus set up.
