even as life seems to return to a kind of normality for your friends here, many of us continue to grieve for you .. and we will continue to be here for you when you are ready or in need of us we will be here

each candle is a thought, each thought is a prayer however we choose to pray

candles lit for Maude

relit. And dd (who's 4) saw what I was doing and asked to do one of her own. She said "But why did she die, only old people are meant to die" and I didn't really know how to answer.

I have written "candles for Maud" in my diary every other day. I check and see how it's going. This way I think about little Maud and her family and each of my four children, as I dedicate a candle from each of them. The words "think about why you're lighting" makes me cry evry time but I won't ever forget Maud. Pink reminds me, balloons and pink champagne. GGG and family, thinking of youXXXXXXXX

Prufrock, your little girl's candle is lovely. I have Maude's photo on my desk and the children often ask about her.

I never knew you as a family, but I have been deeply affected by the tragedy you have faced. As I lit a candle, my thoughts are with you. xxx

Should we re-start this thread and call it "so we won't forget" bearing in mind GGG's post of yesterday?
