He sounds like he was a wonderful man YG, I hope that it gives you some sort of comfort at this time to know that people thought so well of him.

Hi Yorkie - I hope the service went well. Over 300 people is amazing. Do you remember my Granma? When she died, Elvet was really full, and certainly my dad found that really comforting, to think how many people had been touched by her.

Lots of love to you, SOphie and Alex. x

NotAnOtter · 22/08/2006 23:06

ledodgyrobespierre · 22/08/2006 23:25

I'm glad so many people turned up YG. When my mum and dad died (separate occasions) the church was full to the rafters and I have hundreds of cards that I still read now and again. I think it's a wonderful testimony to your dh that there were so many people there, he must have touched many lives and been a truly special person. xxx

soapbox · 22/08/2006 23:27

YG - I'm glad that your DH got such a good send off

You must be knackered though - emotionally and physically I would imagine!

Take good care of yourself and the girls!

Tommy · 22/08/2006 23:30

What a great credit to your husband that so many people came to show their respect for him and their support for you and your daughters.
I hope it will give you some comfort.
