She's just had a sort of browny show, smudge, nothing massive.
I've only got my biggish pads too.....
Which ones do I get tommorrow?
Is the first period likely to be not very much/ or does it vary?
Can't remember, and friends have said different things.

Hi

I have not read the whole thread and someone might already have said this but Boots stock a 'Teen' panty liner that my dd (1 yrs) uses. They do shorter and narrower pads for younger girls.

nannyL I guess we are all different then - I had to use Tampax supermax or lillets super (I think that's what they are called - the biggest ones anyway!) & had no problems. But I know my MIL said she always had problems with tampons - & then a doctor told her she still had part of her hymen there...& this was after she had her first son (my DH)

Size B is the smallest mooncup btw (although only by 3mm) - are you using the right one?

northernefugee39 - mooncup site for you:

The san pro I use are mainly Wemoon (bought from Plush Pants) or Pleasure Puss (these were a gift & so I'm not sure where to get them over here)

My daughter who has just turned 13 has ?started her periods. Just a brown show really a couple of days ago. Her main anxiety is what happens if she has a period on our summer holiday. Have tried to reasure her but she is worried she may miss out on swimming. Have discussed fact that she may not start for a while yet anyway and briefly discussed tampons but would this be ok at such a young age? Help!!

tooty - dd swims with a period, and doesn't use tampons Blush No obvious leakage so far. Let's be honest in a bath full of water there's no obvious signs of the water turning pink, so unliekly to be in a swimming pool!
