ds2 is 8 mths and can now stand in his cot, so he does it all day and all night.
I usually feed him back to sleep (he is bf) and that sorts that but have made rod for own back big style and he is now up multiple times
Coupled with seriously unwell dd (5), who needs me more atm, how the hell do I get him to lay down quickly?
Any top tips or is it simply tying him down with a sheet?

both girls have been standers in the cot but I just ignored them. They soon started lying down.

when dd did this we ignored her and she wore herself out walking up and down i the cot till she fell asleep not bad mommy just prefer to do as little as poss and as dp does not like conflict so that was the only non conflict way for us!

Is he standing and screaming or just standing? After re-reading its not clear.
DD was a screamer, not easy to ignore!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. (Is it very frowned on? Against the rules? Does it make me a troll?)

But in my misery last night I searched for 'baby standing in cot' and found this thread that make me both smile (I needed that!) and reassured that my little night time pop up child may actually sleep one day! (Please God.)

It's only this morning that I've noticed the date and that the little pop up man in question must be about 15/16 now?! And surely he doesn't still stand up in his bed throughout the night 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.
