For the first time ever I am ashamed of my kids.

In hairdressers, kids not doing as their told. Other parents commenting on how their kids are better behaved than mine.

On my own with 3 little ones and no one offered to help but all qite happy to glare and pass judgement. Even one of the hair dressers had a go. I nearly cried.

Finally found someone who can cut my eldests' hair properly and we'll never be able to go again.

re writing a complaint - surely if you include the date and time of the appointment and mark the envelope FAO general manager it'll get to the head honcho
i think you'll probably feel better if you make the complaint, as you really were hard done by

I do think the woman who told me not to start on the other customers (I wasn't) may be head honcho. She doesn't like me as I wasn't best pleased when she had a go at my 2 year old for not doing what she wanted. 2 for goodness sake! My DD has had that many medical staff touching her that she really doesn't like "professional" people bothering with her, and she was weilding some scissors that we all drum in to are kids are sharp and dangerous, no wonder kids don't like it!

Will try and think of something funny.

The 2 year old says cat when I am cutting up mushrooms. (Our cat is called Mushroom)

Chin up. It was probably one of those horrific situations which just kept getting worse and worse, but it's over now.

Get yourself a pair of clippers, a large gladd of wine and some chocolate. You're obviously doing a good job if your children are well-behaved enough for you to consider taking them all to the hairdressers. It just went wrong this time.

Oh Gawd.

Getting my two done this afternoon.

Bracing myself for comments...

Oh poor you. They sound like a load of meanies.

Oh gawd Horrible!

I have to say that mine are past the worst stage when it comes to hairdressers and such. The older ones behave well now and the littlest one is cute enough to get away with a bit of naughtiness and the older 2 help me to distract him. So last time we went to the hairdressers all together was fine.

I do remember when my eldest was 5 having a total mare when I took them to the dentist. I was mortified and actually smacked them when we got to the car. It was that bad! Since then I had managed to avoid taking all three of them anywhere alone if it was a place where they might have to sit quietly for any length of time.

Don't be ashamed of them. They were being kids. The stupid adults who picked on you should be ashamed
