Garden nudity!

DD (2.6) is currently going through a phase of wanting to be nude all the time. She's just stripped off (again) and is playing in the garden.

It would be ridiculous to insist on her getting dressed again (wouldn't it?).

As a side issue, she has also taken to prodding her fanjo. It's a bit disconcerting, but should I just let her get on with it?

Why not give it a quick wipe down when he goes for it,then everyone will be happy?

DH hates the boys being naked in the garden (ages 5 and 2 ) but they love it. DS2 especially strips off whenever he has a chance. As long as they have su cream on, I dont see a probelm

I tell you what, I'll let him play in the toilet too, as wee is sterile, and obvs not a health issue. As I said, he is toilet trained, I do not follow him around the house every time he goes to the toilet, and having more important things to worry about than your children putting urine covered fingers in their mouth, quite frankly, is disturbing.

Another naked household here! I am paranoid about sun cream etc so DD1 is always creamed up to the nines but other than that she can spend the whole day naked in the house if it makes her happy.

I don't have a boy - if DD1 wants to put her hands in her fanny, so long as they are clean I ignore it and let her get on with it. She is just recovering from a wee infection so I am extra careful to keep her fanny clean.

What do you back onto Popsy? Is it houses or open space? any reason for DH to be anxous? We are terraced all around but I figure that I won't be able to have a normal life if I am too paranoid (never had reason to worry so far, completely different if you have of course...)

crikey, my lot are naked every chance they get. prefer that to the mountains of washing, myself.

we have willy handling in perfectly natural fashion (ds3 is SO rough with his, mind. makes my eyes water sometimes) but as eldest is only just 4, i havnt felt a need to comment on it so far.

the peado thing is... overstated imo. its not that theres more of them nowadays, just more awareness of them. its not like they are lurking everywhere for goodness sake. anyway, im pretty confident no-one in my family is a risk that way, and the risk is FAR higher within families than with strangers... so nudity at home is A-ok with me.

btw - apparently i used to fiddle about with my fanjo loads as a youngun - my mother was forever painting it with gentian violet to my great amusement. she delights in telling everyone stuff like that. mothers, eh?

We back onto other gardens. He is paranoid aboout them putting their patns on . I really have no problem!
