what age did your babies start walking??

My lil girl is 16months and litterly JUST started crawling when all her friends of similar ages are tearing around on their feet!! She was premature so not worrying just yet just interested to hear from other mummies!!! Xx

DD took first unaided steps at 11 months, and properly walking all over the place at 12 months.

DiddyDragon - 9 months, DiddyCakes is already 15 months & still cruising round on the furniture & walking holding hands or pushing a block truck.

Mind you DiddyDragon crawled at 5 months whereas DiddyCakes was 11 months. I think he's just chilled. He can bear weight on his legs & stand by himself for short periods of time, he just can't be arsed to walk by himself.

Frankly I couldn't care less as having an early walker is a total pain in the ass from a monitoring/danger avoidance point of view and I can tell there's nothing wrong with him developmentally.

I doubt he'll still be crawling when he's 7. Grin
