First post so please bear with me....!

I am 8 months pregnant with twins but naming them is turning into a slight fiasco due to DH's various 'familial needs' so thought I would turn to here for advice!
Here is my slightly too long shortlist:

Augusta - possible nn Goosy
Allegra
Aphra
Carolina
Cordelia - nn. Coco
Chloris
Christabel- nn. Coco
Clover
Delphi - with poss. full name Delphinia
Florence
Harryo
Hebe
Hero
India
Lettice - nn. Letty
Pandora
Perdita (pur- dita)
Posy
Tansy
Violet
Willow

Arthur
Felix
Finn
George
Harry
Hector
Humphrey
Monty
Milo
Rupert
Sebastian
William- nn. Billy

Would it be possible to give your top 5 girls names, top 5 boys names and then top 5 girl/ boy combinations as we are leaving the sexes as a suprise, also any suggestions especially for boys would be greatly apreciated!
Thankyou so much for your help

I like Delphine and Hector.
Re maryz point, I have a long name and filling out forms is a non issue and a tiny tiny part of life not even worth a mention IMO.

I like Alfie and Allegra
Will and Willow - ok I know you can't have that but I love those names !

I love twins with the same first letter but I know that others don't.

It's your personal opinion.

My DD's are Sophie and Chloe, My sister has Harry and Heidi.

Me and My Sister are Victoria and Jill - which don't go together !!!!

So I would go for same 1st letter or names that sound the same.

Some very nice names.

Personally, I think

DEFINITELY Clover and Hector if you have one of each (go musically together without sounding too similar)

Clover and either Violet or Tansy if you have two girls (two flower names but again don't sound too similar)

and

Hector and Felix or Milo if you have two boys, for no other reason than I like them!

From the girls I like:-

Allegra
Aphra
Cordelia
Christabel- nn. Coco

Not keen on:-

Florence - too popular
Harryo - MrsVWoolf is right about this
Hebe - an odd word
Lettice - nn. Letty - Lettuce
Willow - ok, but prefer Willa

Of the boys I like:

George
Hector
Monty
Milo

I think the other boy's names are v popular, that puts me off a bit. Humphrey & Rupert a no from me, just too class bound as names.

Oh wow so many opinions!
Dh and I have just decided that to ensure both sides of the family are happy the twins will take a family name, one from each side. These will act as the second middle name, but here they are as might influence your opinions

boys: Maximillian and Henry
girls: Mary and Frederica
