Just after some first impressions of the names on my list:

Dexter (the next big thing?)

I love Julius, it was my second fave for DS.

Sebastian, Claudia, Lois and Tabitha are also lovely.

The rest sound a bit overblown, sorry.

I really like Ione from your girls list and Sebastian and Dexter from your boys list.

My favourites are Juniper (on my list), Octavia, Tabitha, Julius and Ari.
Dexter will be huuuuge I think.
Levi is lovely when pronoumced Lev-ee, NOT Lee-vie like the jeans, which is horrid, and the reason I would never use it as nobody would say it correctly.
Crispin is nice, Inigo is sweet too, not keen on Sebastian or Perigrine.
Lois, Ivy and Zara are boring.
Claudia is sweet.
Millicent is lovely, but I dont like Millie.
Isis is Ok, but prefer Iris by a mile (my 9 year old dd is an Iris so Isis always seems inferior to me )

some are ok but others just reek of tryhard imo

my little 5 week old is called juno we think its a lovely name we sometimes call her juniper too
tabitha is a lovely name too infact theyre all really nice apart from crispin....not too keen on that

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone Keep it coming! It just so happens that Sebastian and Tabitha are my #1 names for the fact they are almost universally liked by a lot of people, including me obviously.

At first I was put off when SJP called one of her twins Tabitha but it seems not to have made a ripple in the way that the Affleck's Seraphina has (which was a former frontrunner from years ago).

I think in the end the others are a bit adventurous for me anyway, but I still love them all. Octavia is my runner up for a girl. Ari is my runner up for a boy.

Love Sebastian and like Inigo. Dislike Ari, Levi and Crispin. Have no opinion on Dexter but used to teach a lovely one!

Your girls' names are mostly a bit fussy for my liking but I do like Claudia.

I dislike all your boy choices (sorry). I like Tabitha, Claudia and Millicent from the girls with Juniper as a middle name.

I like Ari, Sebastian, Inigo, Dexter, Tabitha and Ione best.

Ari- wonderful, singer Nico's son. Also name of character in Royal Tenenbaums. Personally I don't like short names that sound like nns but apart from this is fab.

Levi- fabulous, one of my top choices

Sebastian- like, quite normal now actually.

Crispin & peregrine- are quite hilarious. no. imho.

Inigo, Dexter, Julius- meh.

Octavia- my name. Please do not use if you are not actually very very posh as people assume you are. also not very easy to go do a job like carpentry or something similar if thats what your dc so desires. prescriptive & aspirational depending on if you're landed gentry or not.

Ivy, Tabitha, Juniper, Zara- love.

Claudia- Schiffer.

Isis, Ione- hard to pronounce

Millicent- smells like wee. bit prissy on the tongue. also i know a little milly who hates her name.

Juno- film. teen preg.

Lois- american housewife.
