Its odd because to me the way you have titled it seems like "Oh! Girl triplets!" in the same way you'd say "Oh! Puppies!" . Surely saying "What are your favourite girls names?" would have been in better taste...

No, not necessarily as I think some people would chose different names for twins/triplets/multiples than they would if naming their children individually..

For example you could have several favourite names but consider they don't all 'go' together as they are from different naming styles etc. Though not completely different, I am considering Jessica for my DD but don't think I would include this name in a set of triplets.
