Love it although think I love Anna a little bit more.

WorzselMummage · 16/02/2010 19:26

Yes I do.

I prefer Anna though

mathanxiety · 16/02/2010 19:34

I love it too.

DonDons · 16/02/2010 19:35

love them both

SofaQueen · 16/02/2010 19:37

No - I think of Orphan Annie and my MIL. I do like Anna.

mrspnut · 16/02/2010 19:46

I don't mind it, my daughter's real name is Anastasia and we used to shorten it to Anna but now she has decided that it's shortened to Annie instead.

I prefer it as a diminutive than the whole name iyswim.

ilovesprouts · 16/02/2010 19:48

my cousen has a little girl called annie grace !!

scottishmummy · 16/02/2010 19:50

ilovegreenbeans · 16/02/2010 20:48

love it like Annie Rose in the Alfie books

wonderingwondering · 16/02/2010 20:53

I like the name Anna. Annie is more of a nickname, I think, an affectionate adaptation of Anne, Anna or Annabel.

CelticStarlight · 16/02/2010 20:57

I think Annie is pretty but it is more of a nickname than a full-grown name IYKWIM.

ByTheSea · 16/02/2010 20:58

I like it and it has positive connotations for me. DD1-10's best friend is Annie and she is such a lovely sweet girl.

stressed2007 · 16/02/2010 21:01

I have an "Annie" niece and she is a poppet.

Lovely name.

ja9 · 16/02/2010 21:01

My dds name is Annabel and we call her Annie for short. I love the name as its not to common and its pretty.

tummytickler · 16/02/2010 23:41

I love Annie, prefer it to Anna or Annabel. Would be tempted to have Anne with Annie as a nn though.

MaggieMaeve · 16/02/2010 23:55

I do, it's lovely. I'd do it like Kiwichika, I think I'd start off with Annabel and see if Annie evolved.. Annie will go in and out of fashion. Maybe more longevity in Annabel.

I love Annie, Anna, Anya and Anna. BUT oddly enough, not mad about Hannah. I feel the Hs ruin it a bit!

serinBrightside · 18/02/2010 00:02

Love it.

florence2511 · 18/02/2010 02:30

I love it, but teamed with our surname, starting with an A and with 2 sylables, the name would sound like that of a cowgirls.

hannahsaunt · 18/02/2010 09:20

Dd - born on Saturday - is called Annie

Skegness · 18/02/2010 09:26

LaTristesse · 18/02/2010 10:13

bellissima · 18/02/2010 10:46
