Boy's name that goes well with Isaac

I'm 36 weeks and don't know what I'm having. We have our girl's name narrowed down to two but I am at a loss for boys.

DS is Isaac James, not particularly for biblical reason although do like meaning ('laughter'). McIsaac is my middle name after paternal granny's maiden name.

Anyway, would love a name starting with a vowel but all me and DH can think of are 'Innes' or 'Oliver'. I really like both but DH feels Oliver too English (we're in central Scotland) and I feel Innes is too similar to Isaac.

Other names we are toying with are:

Ruari

erm, that's it really.

Middle name will either be Craig after DH or Charles after my beloved late Grandpa.

Rory (or Ruari) is lovely too. One of my faves... I would use it myself but a)we're having a girl and b) it would be very odd with our very Italian surname!

I'm not being much use here, just saying I like what other people have suggested

I'm afraid I'm not going to be much use here. I love biblical names like Luke, Matthew, Jacob and Joseph but I think these have all been mentioned.

Gabriel is also lovely I think.

Love Ewan but our surname is same as famous Scottish actor of said name and BIL has already bagsed it if he has a son!

Alastair is my Dad and other BIL name and I always think of it as being a bit square . Edward a bit too royal for my kilt wearing clan descending DH (he doesn't know I'm after Charles as a middle name - he he)

So I'm down to Ethan Charles, Innes Charles or Oliver Craig... I'm not going to rush it and he may be referred to as babyblue for a couple of days .
