Thea and Anya are both great names. They are both in my family. I like Eve, and Cara is good too. I'm not too keen on Lily as it's very popular at the mo.

Wanderingsheep · 19/10/2009 16:00

Like Lily the best, although Thea and Anya are both lovely too! I used to look after my friend's little girl, who is called Anya and she's so lovely!

Jamieandhismagictorch · 19/10/2009 16:02

Eve and Lily are both lovely, but popular at the moment (if that matters to you).

I like Cara best, and it is unusual.

Anya is nice too

I don't like Thea as much.

spookypixiebroomstix · 19/10/2009 16:07

In order, I like:
Thea
Anya
Lily
Eve
Cara

Congratulations by the way!!

fizzpops · 19/10/2009 16:14

Lily and Anya I like the best - doesn't bother me Lily is popular.
Eve is nice but prefer Evie.
Not keen on Cara or Thea.

jellybeans · 19/10/2009 16:16

eve...like it but prefer Eva or Evie, but these names so popular
lily...OK
cara...love it, nice and quite unusual
thea...like it
anya...not keen

WinkyWinkola · 19/10/2009 16:23

I only like Thea.

Eve and Lily are everywhere now. Nice names but so many, like Ella.

Cara makes me think of a barmaid and Anya just isn't my bag at all.

brummiemummie · 19/10/2009 18:59

I like Cara or Anya, but I'm not too keen on Thea tbh. I quite like Eve and Lily but like everyone has said they are very popular nowadays so I'm not sure I would name my daughter either of them.

mamalovesmojitos · 19/10/2009 19:06

i like them all

thea is my favourite.

belgo · 19/10/2009 19:09

All lovely, apart from Cara, which is very bland.

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 19/10/2009 19:11

Soeey Anya makes me think potato, I like Eve

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 19/10/2009 19:12

Apologies, typing too fast, that was sorry not an attempt to sound girly and twee

ZZZenAgain · 19/10/2009 19:14

why does Anya make you think of potatoes?

Of those I only like Eve.

ZZZenAgain · 19/10/2009 19:14

Lily is a nice name, I just know so many of them

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 19/10/2009 19:16

anya is a variety of potato

Bessie123 · 19/10/2009 19:17

Eve and Lily are too popular, the other 3 are yuck

ZZZenAgain · 19/10/2009 19:19

I didn't know that Gibbon

belgo · 19/10/2009 19:21

Nicola and Charlotte are also varieties of potatoes. I wouldn't exclude those names on that basis.

MrsJiggle86 · 19/10/2009 19:22

That is a hard decision, all the names are beautiful, i proberly like Eve best.
Congrats

Tidey · 19/10/2009 19:22

Don't even get me started on my children, Maris and Piper. What was I thinking?

I like Anya and Lily best from your list.

BonsoirAnna · 19/10/2009 19:25

Lily is much the prettiest name on your list. I don't know many here in Paris (there is a little German Lily in DD's class at school) but I know that it is very popular in countries other than France.

Clara is much prettier than Cara.

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 19/10/2009 19:27

I did not say it should be excluded. I gave an opinion (as was asked for in the OP)

God strike me down for thinking of a potato.

BonsoirAnna · 19/10/2009 19:27

Livia is another very pretty and underused name.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 19/10/2009 19:28

It's not often I say this but they're all lovely Cara and Lily are my favourites from your list, but you have my blessing to use any of the others too

summerisover · 19/10/2009 19:28

Cara is my favourite. And has a lovely meaning too.
