opinions please on these girls names

I am expecting a baby girl in a few weeks. we cant decide between these names, what do people think of them?

I think Livia's gorgeous too, BonsoirAnna, but have seen it mentioned before and most people seem to dislike it because of I Claudius.

Does popularity of the names bother you, OP? I'm always a little surprised at people disliking names because they're in the top 100 names list or whatever.

I seldom say this, but they're all nice. There are, though, zillions of Lilies and Theas around here, if that bothers you.

Eve - lovely, but becoming very popular. Have you considered Eva (as you like -a names iykwim)

Lily - Great, great name, but too popular for me.

Cara - Sorry, but I really don't like this, I know a really annoying Cara in RL though which may make be affecting my judgement.

Thea - Like this lots.

Anya - Another good one.

I think they are all great names.

Fav - Eve, but I adore Evie and wanted this for my DD (didn't work with surname).

they are all beautiful names. eve is my fave also- its one i would use if i had a DD (maybe one day!!)

LOVE Anya - is my top vote - it's uncommon, yet pretty for both a little girl and a woman. A name that suits many occupations and styles and is timeless so won't date.

Thea is nice but a bit clumsy and earnest IMHO. Also not very pretty or elegant.

Cara & Eve - a bit so-so. Prefer Eve of the two but they are both a bit unremarkable.

Lily is pretty but I've always found it a bit of a tongue-twister for some reason, and it doesn't work easily with a lot of surnames. also all the Lilys I have known/know are cheeky and naughty little madams

if you like Cara what about Clara?

we have a Clara Madeleine and EVERYONE thinks is wonderful! honestly they go all misty over her name

and Clara is not too common...have never met another or heard of another in RL

cara - lovely, and surprisingly not very common
thea - I prefer the others but still nice

Well my vote is for Anya, although I am biased as it is my dd's name!

Agree with others. All these names are fine but Clara would be even nicer - my DD reading a version of the Nutcracker (where he chases off aliens(!!)) last night and I was just thinking what a lovely name Clara is. Was on my list together with Lydia.

I like them all! Pick which ever goes best with the surname you have.
