Ok, so we finally have a shortlist! Honest opinions please.

Only 3 weeks to go! Tell me what you think of these names and which is the best.

Harry
Luke/Luc (not sure which spelling)
Dominic

My favourites of Theo, Logan, Dillan, and Mason have been rejected by heartless DH who thinks he has a say! But as we have rather traditional names for the other DCs, I suppose he is grudgingly right!!

They are all lovely. If I had to pick I'd go for Dominic as the other two are very popular but it's a hard choice.

I love Luke, or Lucas (but not Luc to be honest).

Harry nice but popular.

I do like your shortlist much better than the names your dh has rejected. Sorry!

I think Harry and Luke are nicest.

I don't like Luke but do like Lucas.

Harry is so popular now that I almost don't hear it anymore, I can't register it. It's lost all of its impact and instead of thinking 'oh that's nice' I just think 'oh another one'.

Dominic is quite nice actually.

Dominic then Luke, then Harry

My ds2 is Luke. I liked Dominic but dp didn't.
I also liked Dillon and he liked Mason. But Luke is by far the best. Apart from when dp is saying "Luke, I am your father" very annoying!

I feel like that a bit SOH about Harry, it is very popular.

Dominic is a problem one as we both can imagine a little boy running around called Dominic, but cannot see it for a little baby!! (weird, I know!)

I can imagine a little baby Luke though. I think I prefer that spelling.

DH is being useless, he is leaving the deliberating up to me, then will decided whether he likes it or not!!

BIG problem with Luke is that DH will not be able to resist the "Luke, I am your father" type lines He is already doing it now!!

Feedthegoat, I do love the rejected names, but I can't see them fitting with the others in rl. But I won't tell DH you agree with him!

I don't like Harry. Luke is ok. Dominic is nice.

But Theo and Mason are even better.

I like Luke and Dominic as both 'normal' type names but not overused. Harry also nice but a bit too popular for me. We half considered Luke for DS2...

BTW I agree with youjr DH and not keen in varying degrees on the other list.

Lynette, I don't think you and I better fall out about baby names - your DD and mine have the same name IIRC!

I have a Luca who we call Luca the Puker, I think he's only thrown up three or four times in his life

Luke first (love it), then Dominic, then Harry.

Mason is terrible imho sorry - isn't it a kind of jar? Theo is lovely. Dylan is nice (that spelling).

Luke/Luc - Luke is good. Luc is not at all.
Dominic - a bit fussy and prim.
