I always wonder if Daisy's have a problem getting taken seriously sometimes.

verylittlecarrot · 01/08/2009 19:04

I prefer Heidi to Daisy.

Did you mean to use your two, er, unusual spellings of Daisy or were they typos?

If you choose Daisy, please, please spell it correctly!

SlartyBartFast · 01/08/2009 19:05

heidi most definately

belgo · 01/08/2009 19:11

Heidi is lovely.

TrinityRhinoIsInDetention · 01/08/2009 19:11

I don't like either at all I'm afraid but I would choose Daisy over Heidi

janeite · 01/08/2009 19:15

Love Daisy. But please make sure that you know how to spell it!

LovelyTinOfSpam · 01/08/2009 19:19

Daisy nice but v popular at the mo which is why I vetoed it.

heidi is on the list if I have another one!

Does make that tune go around in my head though - but I suppose that's only a problem for my generation...

naturalblonde · 01/08/2009 19:21

Heidi. If I have another dd, think I would short list it

cyteen · 01/08/2009 19:23

Daisy. I've never been a fan of Heidi, but was at school with a lovely Daisy who has never had any trouble being taken seriously.

Daisy May sounds very Texan though - why not go for a longer name like Katherine or Elizabeth? Anything without a y sound at the end should be fine.

slowreadingprogress · 01/08/2009 19:35

please don't use May as it seems to be one of the obligatory middle names along with Rose and Grace. Dare to be different

Heidi is a name that I have an irrationally huge amount of hate for.

Daisy is lovely

How about Daisy Louise
Daisy Alice

janeite · 01/08/2009 19:36

I agree that a longer second name would be good with Daisy:
Daisy Elizabeth is lovely
Daisy Vivienne
Daisy Marianne
Daisy Beatrice
Daisy Kaitlyn

MamaLazarou · 04/08/2009 15:18

Heidi, definitely. My little niece is Heidi and she is adorable.

Daisy's a bit too 'skipping through the meadow' for me. Also: cows.

DiamondHead · 04/08/2009 15:32

Daisy but I agree about Mae

screamingabdab · 04/08/2009 15:59

Heidi

Daisy is too much f a little girls name

What about Trudi, or Astrid , if you like the Germanic-type names

GrimmaTheNome · 04/08/2009 16:11

The conjunction of Daisy and Heidi makes me think of livestock on a nice farm and want to suggest Buttercup ... ignore me.

TitsalinaBumsquash · 04/08/2009 16:13

Hiedi

Its very near the top of my Girls list if i ever have a DD!

Hiedi Skye to be precise

OrmIrian · 04/08/2009 16:13

Neither I'm afraid. Heidi possibly wins by a hair but she'd have to have comedy plaits and clogs. Sorry.

nickelbabe · 04/08/2009 16:14

i love the name daisy: agree to match it with a "grown-up" middle name.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 04/08/2009 16:20

Heidi. Love it.

Daisy very overdone round here
