Why not Innogen instead? There's an argument that Imogen in Shakespeare's play Cymbeline is in fact Innogen.

On the other hand, Innogen is not actually a very nice name.

Because people will think you can'[t spell Imogen, and also because you are condemning your child to a lifetime of saying "No, it's Innogen, not Imogen"

I don't know about being chavvy, but reckon Tamsin is right up there with Tamara and Tarquin.

Imogen is very pretty, some nice nicknames derived from this - Immy, Mimi, Midge, Jenny.

Was a girl in my year at primary school (many MANY years ago) called Charmian Tamsin. Known as Tammy. And I was unbelievably jealous - it was so glamorous.
