I really really like it. Good across all ages. Raff is lovely as a shortened version. It's not crazy posh like Tarquin or Monty, I think it's a bit artsy sounding.

pinkpeoniesplease · 03/08/2013 05:38

I LOVE this name but can't get it passed DH. I definitely don't think it's posh?!

You should use it!!

Layl77 · 03/08/2013 05:40

Loolah · 03/08/2013 07:46

It's ok I have a Rafferty in my family he's 2 and it gets shortened to Raff

littlepeas · 03/08/2013 09:08

No. I don't find it posh, at all.

minipie · 03/08/2013 09:43

I actually really like it, BUT it's a bit self consciously cool/celebby. and I have a suspicion that it might get a bit, um, downmarket in future.

PipkinsPal · 03/08/2013 09:45

Yes - for a dog

ShowOfHands · 03/08/2013 09:46

I have already commented on this thread.

Four years ago...

LovelyMarchHare · 03/08/2013 09:49

I like it. I know of one and goes by Raffi. Both are quite nice in my opinion. If you like it go for it.

rockybalboa · 03/08/2013 11:34

Yes but I just wasn't brave enough to use it! Jude Law has a Rafferty I believe.

MoonHare · 03/08/2013 13:35

MissTweed · 04/08/2013 07:51

I'm loving the fact that the comments on here from 2009 were mainly negative bit the ones from 3013 are mainly positive!! Strange how 4 years can have such a difference!! I'm trying to think of names that everyone hates now but could be popular in 2017!! Smile

Londongirl84 · 04/08/2013 13:45

I really like it!

emmelinelucas · 04/08/2013 13:59

TobyLerone · 04/08/2013 14:38

Love it. It will be one of DC3's middle names, whether it is a girl or a boy. It has significance in my (Irish) family.

TobyLerone · 04/08/2013 14:39

Oh crap. I should have RTFT. Zombie.

bridgetsmum · 04/08/2013 14:45
