I think its nice. Only reservation would be i think sadie frost has a child called this.

missmem · 30/06/2009 22:03

Uber posh, so if you are and send DS to private school then you'll be fine!

I love it but DH has vetoed it because it would remind him of some golfer.

One of Jude 'n' Sadie's kids is Rafferty I think.

NotKeenOnFish · 01/07/2009 11:40

Sarah Beanie also has a son called this. We are not uber posh, or indeed any sort of posh, do you think this is a problem?

Yes. You have to be posh to have a son called Rafferty. His top hat and monocle will look out of place otherwise.

hulabula · 01/07/2009 12:47

I quite like Rafferty/Raff.

minouminou · 01/07/2009 14:57

Not mah bag....but then my opinion isn't worth v much on the subject of names!

Issy2008 · 10/07/2009 20:47

Love it! x

dizzydixies · 10/07/2009 21:10

I like it, was a contender for ours but we had girls - tis MIL's maiden name so we had the family connection too

Just gorgeous!

ADealingMummy · 14/07/2009 19:14

I like it . It's the name of Jude Law's son.

MrsToffeeCrisp · 14/07/2009 21:26

Really like it, but couldn't convince DH. Think it's a fab name.

thell · 16/07/2009 11:34

Not one I would choose, but I do like it

Boodlerpoop · 16/07/2009 11:43

I love it

jammydonut · 22/07/2009 08:05

I adore the name Rafferty but I think you need a one-syllable surname for it to work. If you like it - go for it!

sybilfaulty · 22/07/2009 08:13

Sarah Beeny and Johnny Vaughan have a son called this. Not the same son, though.

Personally I'd go with Raphael / Rafael as it's a bit modern for an old dusty like me.

browntrout · 22/07/2009 08:17

I like it

mrsradders · 22/07/2009 10:05

oohhh i like it i was thinking last night whilst watching that new roimantics thing that rafe was a cool name so rafferty is fab.

I don't think you need to be posh to use certain names, we aren't posh but it is a joke with friends that i like pretentious names HAHAHA....monty would be my demanding choice if this baby turns out to be a boy rather than a girl!!

xxx
