We're expecting a boy at the end of October and have managed to narrow our name choice down to our two current favourites: Quentin and Hugo.

Our dd is Annabel.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

(I revised my nickname - same person who had a son a few days back).

I went back to the bargaining table to fight for Quentin - reading all the posts has made me like it even more:-)

We'll see if I can make any headway.

Just saw this thread. We have an 8 year old Quentin. Still love his name and it really suits him. We've only ever had positive comments. DS is happy and popular (at our local state primary in Surrey) and likes the fact that he is the only Quentin in his (small) school .

MaggieBeau, yes, Louis would have to be written as Louie for it to work in German, as Louis would be pronounced Lewis. But I'm not that keen on that spelling... nice name, though.

KaraP, of your suggestions I really like Quentin and Felix, and I think either go well with Theo. Good luck with your decision !

I'm afraid when I hear Hugo, I think of Hugo Monkey from Cbeebies...
