I know someone with this name, definitely unusual but not difficult to spell or pronounce etc.

yes i do, i already have a buttercup (middle name) so the more unusual the better!

had also thought of sweetpea (perhaps a bit twee!) and peony (my favourite flower!) but dont think they work.
