giddykipper · 19/05/2009 21:56

I have a Seth and I don't know any others. Not at all popular around here.

janeite · 19/05/2009 21:57

I don't like any of them, at all, sorry.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 19/05/2009 22:04

seth

RustyBear · 19/05/2009 22:05

Seth reminds me of Cold Comfort Farm too.

I would definitely go for Seth.....

MrsJamesMartin · 19/05/2009 22:06

I have a Seth, go for that

seeker · 19/05/2009 22:09

"worst fears realized - Seth and Reuben too, please send gumboot"

seeker · 19/05/2009 22:10

But SERIOUSLY think about the accent where you live. He would definitely be Seff at ds's school, and you wouldn't be able to do a thing about it.

MrsMerryHenry · 19/05/2009 22:15

There was something naaaaasty in the woodshed!

tearinghairout · 19/05/2009 22:22

Mmm Seth from Cold Comfort Farm was gorgeous. Brooding. Got that girl pg every time the woodbind came into flower, until she started wearing a 'little hat'.

Anyway, I love Seth & Jethro. Not so sure about Amos. Sounds like Amosquito!

FrankMustard · 19/05/2009 23:16

I know someone who named her 2 sons Seth and Reuben!

Ronaldinhio · 19/05/2009 23:17

More like Emmerdale Farm

DiamondHead · 19/05/2009 23:20

Amos not good if your surnames Quito.

MrsMerryHenry · 19/05/2009 23:32

Frank -

We have a Reuben, but are definitely not naming no 2 Seth (especially not if it's a girl ).

Chosen your recipe for your friend, yet?

embarrassedbyebay · 19/05/2009 23:36

Seeker is right. I love Ethan but cannot hve it as I cannot live with Etfan. Seth will suffer the same.

FrankMustard · 19/05/2009 23:36

i think Reuben is really rather lovely - doesn't it mean Behold, a son! That's rather nice!

Yes, recipe chosen - will post on my other thread so as not to hijack this one...

MrsMerryHenry · 19/05/2009 23:37

Aww, thanks. We think our Reuben is particularly lovely - obviously we're completely objective!

nevergoogledragonbutter · 19/05/2009 23:40

Oi Mrs. I've got a thread in arts and crafts.
You can post on it if you have lovely things to say (about me obviously)

LessThenIdeal · 20/05/2009 07:23

We definately don't have the accent thing going on down here - we're in South Wales. I still really like Seth, not so keen on Amos now, but still like Jethro. DF likes Jethro mainly because his last name begins with a D and he wants to shorten it to call him JD
