How many Poppys do you know?

How popular is Poppy in your circles? TIA

I have one, there's another at nursery.

1 girl and 2 cats

I only know of 1 and she is dreadful (sorry)

Love the name, but would never use it because will always relate it to this Poppy I know!

Poppy my cousins daughter. I wasnt keen at first but it really does suit her now and I love it!

I know one...she is mine..!!

She is often Pop, Pops or Pop-Pop, but then her sister is called LuLu a lot..

I have met a couple of others in my time, and I know a LOT of people who have told me its a dog's name.

I know 2 ,one is aged 1 and the other must be about 12 by now!

oh and one of my parents dogs is also called Poppy !

This bump will be Poppy if it is a girl. i only know of one other (daughter of a friend of a friend). unfortunately my mum's cat is called Poppy too but i cant think of anything i like more which DH hasnt vetoed. i keep telling myself its an old cat and i will regret not picking the name if it pops its clogs next year! sorry cat lovers!

Ours is called Pops, Poppet and Popsicle depending - sorry if you don't like it, we love it and don't know any others (yet!).

I know 3 and our spaniel is called Poppy! My mum had a cat called Poppy too.

I'm not keen on Poppy, or Pops for short.

I automatically think of it as a dogs name as know 3 Poppy bitches. Also know of 1 child, which gets shortened to Pops.

I do like Popsicle though, thats cute.

She is 5 and the biggest brat and most unsuited character to a name that I have ever encountered.

Personally think it fails the "does it work on an adult" test. Fine for a curly haired moppet less so for a corporate lawyer IMO. Dont know any under 5 though.
