I don't know any. I work in a playgroup and we don't have any either and none on the waiting list.

The Poppy at our school is shortened to Pops too

I know lots - and not one of them is a High Court Judge, an Airline Pilot or the Headteacher of a school!

I know 2 and a dog.

I know 2 one is my dd and one is a teenager .

One half of twins. T'other is Holly. I do keep referring to either or both as POlly (and then realising that '...and Hoppy' is somehow wrong)

Two. And for the record I think its a hideous name.

I know two, one is 3 and one is 10. Also know 2 dogs called Poppy!

I was born on rememberance sunday and my mother was told by everyone to call me Poppy (she didn't though) I always wish she had!

One aged 4. They all call her Pops at school.
We're in N London and I also hear it a lot at groups, in the park etc

My 26 year old sister is called Poppy. She was the ONLY one for years, but I do know a baby with the name now and I sometimes meet them on the toddler activities circuit. I love it though and I know my sis loves it.

If DS2 had been a girl he would have been Poppy.

Quite a few, at least 4. "Pop-pop" is the one I know best.
I don't like the name, tbh. I'm sure I'll get over this (and it doesn't matter what I think, anyway), but it sounds too much like a baby name for my taste. Hard to imagine a CEO of a major company or prime minister named "Poppy".
