I was thinking about this yesterday strangely.

Although I'm not normally a fan of boys-names-with-a-bit-tacked-on-to-make-them-a-girls-name I do quite like this one.

CHEQUERSmate · 10/02/2009 19:01

Yes I think it does go with Olivia.

nigglewiggle · 10/02/2009 19:02

Not tonight

Wheelybug · 10/02/2009 19:06

Would you shorten it ? I like Josie (but would have Josephine as proper name !).

Lubyloo · 10/02/2009 19:07

I love it - especially when shortened to Josie.

zanz1bar · 10/02/2009 19:49

lovely name and very versatile for a lifetimes use, jo/josie/ i know a sephy.

Tillyscoutsmum · 10/02/2009 19:52

Lovely - Josie is a sweet nickname. Have also known one shortened to Phin

LilRedWG · 11/02/2009 11:04

I love the name Josephine.

BlueChampagne · 11/02/2009 13:17

Definitely, and I know a lovely little Josephine (Jo or Josie for short).

jellybeans · 11/02/2009 13:29

I love it

motherlovebone · 11/02/2009 14:36

i love it too, go for it!

Ozziegirly · 12/02/2009 06:46

My cousin is Josephine, Josie for short and I think it's lovely. (She's lovely too, which obviously helps).

Nice formal name, with lots of nice shortened versions.

piscesmoon · 12/02/2009 07:01

I like it and it goes well with Olivia.

pixiemoon · 12/02/2009 13:31

Like it, all nicknames are lovely too, Jo if you're more tomboyish, Josie or Jodie, or I have met a Phi (said 'fee').

Madmentalbint · 12/02/2009 14:30

I love the name and think it sounds great with Olivia

KristinaM · 12/02/2009 14:31

i like it but don't think it goes with olivia

branflake81 · 12/02/2009 14:50

I think it's a bit ugly. Sorry.

Alishanty · 13/02/2009 23:16

Like it. My mum is called Josepha pronounced Jo-seffa. Quite unusual, hardly ever hear it, she calls herself Jo for short.

TooFoggy · 14/02/2009 15:34

I think its very pretty. Got a catch phrase too, so handy!

Jenbot · 14/02/2009 15:59

Yes I like it, think it goes really well with Olivia.

belgo · 14/02/2009 16:00

Lovely name. And Josie is very sweet as well.

tankie · 14/02/2009 16:01

Lovely name, and Olivia and Josephine go very nicely together.

Karamazov · 14/02/2009 16:02

Love it, esp with Josie as the nn.

FairLadyRandySlut · 14/02/2009 16:03

It's a beautyful name and goes lovely with Olivia

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 14/02/2009 16:30

Very pretty. I know one, she has always shortened it to Posy.
