I just cannot decide on a name! Names I like today I tend to go off tomorrow!!

I like:

Emma
Bethany
Holly

DP doesn't like any of these as he thinks they are too boring.

She is due in March and at this rate she will be Baby Barton! Not good!

I used to know a
Tilica
which i always thought was so pretty

and she used to shorten to Tilly,
but I always preferred the long version better

KatB · 06/01/2009 12:33

Hi
I had the same problem when I had my DD2 (now 5) couldn't agree on ANYTHING! So I sympathise with you... I have a Lily Emma which is pretty but there are loads of Lily's about now.

Elsie is pretty or you could move the letters around and have Elise which is a bit different? Elsie Emma is nice too.

Good luck!

I like Emma and love Amy but prefer it spelt Aimee. I know that Amy/Aimee has been around for ages and some ppl would say it's boring but I think it's lovely.
I also love the names Ruby and Evie at the mo.
I know what u mean about using DP's Mum's name, my DP's mum's name is May and I think it fits quite nicely as a middle name but wouldn't want to offend my mum who has also got an awful name lol.

My DD2 is called AMORET. I've not met anyone with that name yet (I've seen one article in a magazine written by an Amoret but nothing else). It is the name of faerie queen in old english literature by Edmund Spenser C15th. Amoret, in Spenser's Faerie Queene, III. vi, xii and IV. vii, twin sister of Belphoebe. She is ?Of grace and beautie noble Paragone?, and has been married to Sir Scudamour.

What about ELISE so you've used Elsie but changed it slightly.
