How do you think "to" something anyway? I mean unless you are telepathic, how is it possible to think to?

The name choices aren't improving ...

giddykipper · 18/11/2008 22:27

Brother to Tupac and Snoop?

UnquietDad · 18/11/2008 22:27

Ann Robinson did a Weakest Link with some rappers a few years ago where they all had their Rap Names on the plaques. It was very funny. "So, Young MC... That name's a bit out of date, isn't it?"

Seriously, how about DaWikkidMC for a boy and DaBrat for a girl?

It looks like someone's given up halfway through writing his name. "His name's D....R.....E.... ah sod it, that'll do.".

BabyBaby123 · 19/11/2008 11:40

Dre is awful in my honest opinion - looks like it's missing a letter or two....

Shay is quite nice though!

CoteDAzur · 19/11/2008 11:42

Think OF the name. Think OF

roisin · 19/11/2008 11:43

I did a (comedy) writing exercise in school yesterday. Children (11-14) had to write three columns:
I wanted ... I would have settled for ... I got

e.g I wanted a porsche, I would have settled for a BMW, I got a bike.
I wanted to soar over the roof tops, I would have settled for flying just once, I got a twisted ankle.

Child [crazy name] wrote as one of his examples:
I wanted a cool name, I would have settled for a normal name, I got [crazy name]

His crazy name has clearly dogged him all his life so far, and at age 13 it's one of the first things that springs to mind when someone says "something you didn't want".

Think very carefully when naming your children something unusual.

Makes me think of Eminem.

Cryptoprocta · 19/11/2008 11:47

Perhaps Suge could come play with my twins, Plug 1 and Plug 2

cheesesarnie · 19/11/2008 11:47

Not a name. Surely it's a syllable or an exclamation of indifference bit like 'meh'.

ledodgy · 19/11/2008 12:31

If he ever gets a medicine degree, or a doctorate of any sort he will leave a trail of giggles in his wake.

elsiepiddock · 19/11/2008 12:35

Chav-tastic

cheesesarnie · 19/11/2008 13:26

annasmami · 19/11/2008 14:13

Both Dre and Suge, already difficult enough for English speakers to know how to pronounce, are going to impossible to pronounce in any other language...!

Lotster · 19/11/2008 14:47

Erm, it makes me think of someone who might perhaps offer to "pop a cap in my ass".
