Name to go with Anna?

pollyblue · 13/10/2008 22:25

Expecting twin girls - already have dd called Erin - and we've agreed on Anna as one name. I like several others but dh has vetoed them all so now I'm stumped and he's not got any ideas either!

Any suggestions? We'd like them to have different initials so nothing starting with A or E and nothing too flowery.

Thanks!

Mary / Maria are very traditional to go with Anna.

Otter - I did see your new boots thread and replied! but it disappeared. Unfortunately I'm off to bed now but we must talk boots soon.

SIL is Anna Maria always thought it was very pretty!

LemonyAle · 13/10/2008 22:52

Some great names so far (really like Jane and Leah). Maria is lovely with Anna too.

PS NotAnOtter I am impressed by your umlaut!

LemonyAle · 13/10/2008 22:53

Oops snowleopard & dinkymum - x-post!

SongbirdScreamsInTheDeadOfNite · 13/10/2008 22:54

I thought you meant a middle name to go after Anna, and thought of May. Still a nice name for a twin for Anna though.

Congratulations!

dinkymum · 13/10/2008 22:54

Oops didnt read properly sorry!

Aero · 13/10/2008 22:55

Good choices so far - dd has both those names!

I really like Lois and it seems to go nicely. Also, Lucy, Iris and Phoebe are all lovely names and would go well with your choices.

what about grace? i think thats simple and pretty like erin and anna.

lolianja · 14/10/2008 15:03

This thread is so funny! We've decided on Anna for our little one (assuming it is a girl as we suspect), and our second choice was Rosie, which has also been mentioned in this discussion, as my name, Louise, my sister's name, Grace, my other sister's name, Maria!
