William as long as not Billy!

My friend's baby is Luke... his dad calls him Pukey Lukey

I like Ethan.

How about something that's a well-known name but not too common? Like Lawrence or Leon?

ethanchristoper · 17/08/2008 23:26

can people stop slating ethan!!

my little boy is called ethan and nobody else there is called ethan

there are however 5 lukes

luke is a common name at my school too and i dont know any other ethans

nappyaddict · 18/08/2008 01:03

i like lucas or luca but not luke.

i actually no 2 reggie's. one's 24 and bizarrely it still suits him - the other is 6 months and it's a really cute name imo.

what about lewis/louis?

would dh prefer billy or liam as a shortening for william?

Ashantai · 18/08/2008 01:28

Alexander for sure i'm not really biased

Ooh and Luca is lovely too, but then again i was kinda in love with Luca in ER

Sorry, don't like Luke or Ethan, but love your other suggestions of Alexander and William. If you like traditional names, how about Edward, George, Harry?
