I had a big, fat grumpy (male) cat called Aubrey. Sorry but i wouldn't use the name on a child, male or female. It's ok for a grumpy old cat though

Aubrey is a family name of ours and I think its lovely.
It was on my shortlist as a mn for my dd2.

Aubrey is a boys/mans name - my old manager was an Aubrey - and he was a lovely man.

Although even approaching retirement he still got really ticked off when people confusd it with 'Audrey'

Its a male name although has a very feminine 'feel' about it just MO obviously.

Aubrey is male, but many people won't listen properly when it's said and will hear it as Audrey, unfortunately. I do like it , though.
