I love the name Tabitha Wren. Honest opinions please

Love Tabitha, wren is totally fine as a middle name. Overall pretty name and I’m quite picky.

Arsenalfan3 · Yesterday 09:04

Sorry, I don’t like it at all. I would also be fearful Tabitha would be shortened to Tabby which is worse.

What don’t you like if you dont mind?

I think it's lovely, slightly on the twee side, but imo that's a good thing.

It’s lovely 🥰

Bluesclues1 · Yesterday 10:16

I love Tabitha but Wren is one of my most disliked names which I appreciate is a me problem and I’m in the minority. I just really don’t like how it sounds, I find it quite harsh.

WhatAMarvelousTune · Yesterday 10:19

I don’t like Wren really, but as a middle name I don’t think it matters much anyway.

Tabitha is a bit jolly hockey sticks for me.

But you could put literally any name on here and find people who don’t like it. So pick what you like!

TheeNotoriousPIG · Yesterday 10:28

I like it! I've only ever known one Tabitha, also known as Tabby. As it's a 'known but not overly common name', it is not one that I used to get tired of hearing when I was a teacher!

I know a little Wren. At four, she is quite the force of nature 😁

AustenitesUnite · Yesterday 10:53

I'm really sorry, OP, but this is giving me Beatrix Potter vibes . . .

Such a shame as I really like the name Wren but I don't feel it pairs well with Tabitha

viques · Yesterday 10:56

It is a bit dinky doo. Sweet for a tiny baby in a cradle. Not so much for a teen with acne or a forty year old high court judge.

SpringingOn · Yesterday 10:59

I like Tabitha but not Wren. But you don't normally know people's middle names so not sure it matters much.

I don’t love it as a first name but I think it’s a lovely middle name and goes nicely with Tabitha.

Silverbirchleaf · Yesterday 11:04

I think it’s really pretty.

SemperIdem · Yesterday 11:05

I like it. It is pretty without tipping over in to being twee.

ginnib1 · Yesterday 11:06

OMG love it!!

fairycupcakes · Yesterday 11:07

I think it’s lovely!

I do think it's cute but it probably won't age well.

Tabitha is OK but I don't like Wren or the combination.
It comes across as being a bit like Tommy Kitten or Benjamin Bunny.

Wren is OK as a surname but I think it sounds abrupt as a name, and it seems like a filler middle name.

I really like it. Teach secondary and there's one Tabitha in the school, I've also met one as an adult. I think it's the sweet spot of underused classic but still definitely a known name and not an oddball one.

Wren is really sweet as a middle name. Reads sliightly Beatrix Potter as the full name but I kind of love that?

mathanxiety · Yesterday 13:35

Tabitha Wren is a gorgeous name!

Tabitha is a perfectly fine name for any age or occupation, and Wren is a great middle name choice to go with it, again suitable for any age or occupation. It has a touch of whimsy to it that shows confidence.

BognorRegenia · Yesterday 13:38

It sounds like a cat from a kid's book

Daffodilsinthespring · Yesterday 13:38
